Report: Daley Signs 6-Fight Deal With Strikeforce

("It seems me stay in the colonies has been extended …" PicProps: SBNation) is at it again, reporting on Sunday morning that Paul Daley has signed a six-fight deal with Strikeforce and will face Evangelista “Cyborg” Santos in his first bout with the American promotion.

Since getting excommunicated from the UFC for punching Josh Koscheck after the bell at UFC 113 in May, Daley appeared on the inaugural pay-pay-view of the Australia-based Impact FC promotion in July – notching a win over Daniel Acacio — and had been rumored to be in contract talks with Bellator as well as slated to fight in the European United Glory welterweight tournament this fall.

No date is yet known for Daley’s Strikeforce debut. Middle Easy cites an anonymous but “very reliable” source with the news.

@ dranokills
I didn't say, "I like to watch him fight pussies." I said, I like to watch him fight "." Pussy! Ya see CP'ers, the pussies always know when you're talkin to em.

Good for him! It's about time strike force gets someone who can win fights in a dramatic non-leg humping, non-way past his prime fashion. I just hope they change his nickname to "fraggle slapper"

Jake Shields is so boring...that Itsgalf forgot he beat Paul Daley already.
Jake Shields is so boring...that in the amount of time it took him to pull off the armbar on Paul Daley...the conflict in the middle east was resolved.
Nick Diaz is so Gangster....he not only expects Paul Daley to punch him after the bell if they fight...he made it mandatory in their contracts.

I like to watch him fight as well. He does knock dudes out. I dont really care where he does it, as long as they give him good competition. I would love to see Daley put his KO power against Diaz's nasty long jab and nasty ground game.

Daley vs Cyborg(Mister, not Miss)is a good scrap! Somebody's getting KTFO in the first round..

Semtex vs The Misses would be a good one too, but he needs to earn that one.

I was excited when I read this. I'm not concerned with his personality flaws, I like to watch him fight. Pussies.

Strikeforce is really starting to annoy me, although Diaz vs. Daley would be a really sick matchup. Diaz and Miller needs to happen too.

oh it's too bad he goes to Strikeforce now after it's a little late. I would have liked to see him fight Jake Shields
