However I think you should continue to train. There is something very cathartic about Martial Arts. I can't imagine not doing it 5 times a week. Been going for 15 years now.
I still grin from ear to ear when I land a roundhouse kick on one of my fighters heads and it is even more fun to see a 20-something guy realize a 47 year old was the one that did it to him.
See, your never too old for this shit.
Find a new Dojo or club that isn't so full of themselves or testosterone.

Yes it was indeed the headquarters back then, not sure if it still is.

Yes I did train under sensei Lee, but to be honest, he was full of himself, he bragged about his many movie roles.

I did not continue with him past my red belt for the above reason, the lack of respect I had for him, and the fact that I was stationed at LRAFB and was sent overseas for a few reasons during that time.

It's funny that you ask this question about kickboxing. What I liked best about it was the full contact of it, it was boxing with kicks, and I thought thats great, it's good for tournaments and such, but I found as I got into it for about a week or more my instructor would ask me all the time if I had taken Muay thai before I came to him....he admonished me daily that my push kicks, and all front kicks , when I kicked , and my hands were up, as I kicked my hands opened, or widened as I kicked. he said I looked just like a Muay thai person. I "opened" as I pushed, as if to grapple and grab a neck or head lock.
he hated it, and he would kick the living fuck out of my chest each time I did it.....so I stopped taking it.
I stopped for that reason, and the fact I was getting to damn old for it.

A ball kick is another name for a Teeb, or push kick in Muay Thai, also it is referred to as a front kick.
I like the name as it obviously has dual meaning,...and is also one of the kicks I like to land into someones face......which I do, successfully quite often.
My hero at doing this is a Thai named Buakaw por Pramuk he is a master.

Why does Wiman get a pass for claiming a guy who was still resisting him was unconscious when that was clearly not the case? You can tell the resistance between a conscious animated body when you are choking somebody and an unconscious limp body. Wiman desreves to get choked unconscious in this re-match. Yves Lavinge would have been fired a long time ago if he didn't have all of his criminal connections to the Montreal underground.

CP: Danzig didn't know Yves was even touching him, his head was located under Wiman. He MAY have been able to hear him, but definitely couldn't see the ref.

Fuck that self righteous vegan, but he deserves this rematch.

It'd be fun to say some of Bellator guys are coming over but don't just say that. People are idiots.
