I hate that douche aerobics queen Dana White but when he brought in his freak show Lesnar, he did it right. A little publicity, nothing overboard and hes not the second coming of Helio. Lesnar scared the crap out of Mir and showed that 4 times all amercain in wrestling doesnt get lost overnight. On top of that his next fight is the Heathster.

But Brett Rodgers has to fucking get into a gym. His stomach looks he had 5 kids and when he bounces, his titties jiggle. Seriously, its mesmerizing. Worst body this side of Ricco Rodriguez or Tim Sylvia.

This whole night was a big step backward for MMA. Not only did they hype a "brawler" but his fight sucked. Atleast Dana is trying to show the world that there is and art and a science behind it, people train for years and all the other blah blah blah crap he always spouts out in interviews. Gary Shaw on the other hand just brought it back to the days of tank abbot. Why would any casual viewer want to watch it again, To them it was probably boring and the best fight of the night ended too soon. If Lawler and Smith went the full 5 people would have had a new respect for it.

First off I am a Big Slice Fan, and Kimbo did lose that fight. He Knows it Thompson knows the viewing public knows it. It was silly to place that fight as the Main Event. and it was even sillier for Harden MMA Fans to assume that KS's ground skills to be little more than basic.
I would have to also say that MMA, It long time fanboys and established pro's are not owed a f*cking thing when it comes to Money and lime light. You want props go volunteer at a soup kitchen. Kimbo Slice is in the Kimbo Slice Bidness,
Don't worry he will get a real loss and everyone will have a gleaming example that he is beatable by KO or Sub.

All in all I think the whole night was a bust and a bad mark for MMA.

The first two fights ended waaaaay too quickly for how many commercials they had running. I almost went to bed myself, so I'm sure the casual fans and newcomers had tuned out by the time the ladies were up.

I must say the ladies had a good fight but that was a bunch of crap too really because GC couldnt even make weight for a class made just for her. VERY disrespectful. I still like her though, good fight.

Then the last two were stopped early by everyones account. The Lawler/Smith fight was definitley fight of the night till that debacle with the dumbass doctor. You are asking a fighter to think clearly about how and what he says while hyped up on adrenaline and in the fight of his life? "He said he couldnt see, twice" and? he also said give me the allotted 5 mins.

Then the whole Busta and dancing girls and really terrible presentation just put a sour taste in my mouth. Bye-bye mainstream MMA, again. (I really hope not)
