I firmly believe that Rousey would armbar cyborg in the first. I mean Gina Carona is a kickboxer and I think she mounted cyborg.

I look at Rousey as the Royce Gracie of womens MMA. Womens MMA is so new to the scene that most women have only been training afew years. When someone like rousey comes along who has been training for her whole life she has enough of an advantage to be able to steamroll opponents with technique. Unfortunately for Rousey Cyborg is the Wandy of womens MMA. When you know how to defend the armbar and are physically capible of dictating where the fight goes, unrelenting and savagely aggressive violence trump one dimentional jiu jitsu skills every time.Rousey is a signalpost for where womens MMA is today. Her success is a product of her times. She is lucky enough to be in the right place (womens MMA) at the right time (now). The problem for her is that Cyborg is ahead of her time. If womens MMA continues to grow the pool of potential fighters will grow with it and the compitition will get harder- just like it has in the UFC over the years. When that happens we will have more killers like Cyborg and fewer experts in single disiplines like Rousey.

For the record I still can't stand the bitch, but there is no denying her skills and dominance. I don't like her and I'd love to see her put in her place, but I'd be a liar if I said I wasn't impressed every time she steps in the cage.

At this point I don't even see it as being one dimensional, I just see it as being so utterly dominant that she can tell you exactly what she's going to do to you and how long it's going to take, and there's STILL nothing you can do about it. It's almost like a game now, to see how many 1st round armbars in a row she can rack up. I'd rather set a record with consecutive 1st round finishes using the same technique than stray from that just to prove a point to random internet goons. It's the opponents job to force Ronda to showcase her other skills. If they can't stop her opening attack, that's their problem, not Rondas.

The armbar can be used against her? Cool story. Until somebody proves otherwise, Ronda's judo and armbar skills will continue racking up the wins for her. And for those that think that Cyborg would do any better, Cyborg has bigger things to worry about right now. Like whether to continue cheating and risk getting caught again, or to go clean and see how she fares once the playing field is more level. Either way, she is screwed. If she keeps cheating, it will only be a matter of time before she gets caught again. And if she goes clean, Ronda will finish her just like the others.

Ronda always goes for the armbar. that can be used against her. Like I said before, let her fight cyborg. she can go for that armbar and cyborg can slam her tits off. THAT would be a PPV I would pay for.
