If Chuck wants to fight so bad, I say the UFC should take the high road and let him go fight for Strikeforce or whoever. Chuck does have a chance against Franklin. Unless he’s learned something new with Silva, Ace is a throwback fighter with a very orthodox style that Chuck might just be able to catch.

That being said, it is also possible that Ace’s best days are behind him, and while Chuck beating him would be considered a win against a viable opponent, it wouldn’t be huge, besides the symbolism of going out on a win. On the flipside, the same is true for Ace. Beating Chuck has lost its luster. I don’t see this as an obvious smart move for either.
