The UFC paid out $630,000 in disclosed salaries and bonuses for Saturday night’s Ultimate Fighter 9 Finale, according to figures released by the Nevada State Athletic Commission. Leading the list are Diego Sanchez — who took home an event-high $115,000 thanks to his Fight of the Night bonus and pack-leading to-show salary — and Joe Stevenson, who came in second place with $95,000. The numbers are below…
– Diego Sanchez: $115,000 (includes $45,000 win bonus and $25,000 Fight of the Night bonus)
– Joe Stevenson: $95,000 (includes $35,000 win bonus and $25,000 Fight of the Night bonus)
– Chris Lytle: $61,000 (includes $18,000 win bonus and $25,000 Fight of the Night bonus)
– Clay Guida: $48,000 (includes $25,000 Fight of the Night bonus)
– Nate Diaz: $45,000 (includes $25,000 Fight of the Night bonus)

– Tomasz Drwal: $40,600 (includes $7,000 win bonus, $25,000 Knockout of the Night bonus, and 20% of Mike Ciesnolevicz‘s to-show money [$1,600])
– Kevin Burns: $34,000 (includes $25,000 Fight of the Night bonus)
- Melvin Guillard: $24,000 (includes $12,000 win bonus)
– Brad Blackburn: $18,000 (includes $9,000 win bonus)
– Gleison Tibau: $17,000
– James Wilks: $16,000 (includes $8,000 win bonus)
– Ross Pearson: $16,000 (includes $8,000 win bonus)
– Nick Osipczak: $16,000 (includes $8,000 win bonus)
– DaMarques Johnson: $8,000
– Andre Winner: $8,000
– Frank Lester: $8,000
– Cameron Dollar: $8,000
– Mike Ciesnoleviscz: $6,400 (Ciesnolevicz was penalized $1,600 for missing weight)
– Edgar Garcia: $5,000
Underpaid: Chris Lytle. Maybe the UFC is paying him so little in base salary because they figure he’ll come out even when they add the Fight of the Night bonus (he’s won it in his last three appearances), but still, a fighter with 15 UFC fights should probably be making more than $18,000 to show by now. For all the blood he’s shed for the company, he deserves it.
Overpaid: Nobody. How about that.

TANNER WAS A FUCKING MENTAL REJECT AND HE DIED LIKE THE GARBAGE HE WAS!
Where can we meet? cause dude I am not even remotely scared to tell you that again, and again to your face or your unconscious body...whatever.
Now relax SON cause you can't do shit about it. Stop being a target.
Diego is the man. And gotta give Guida credit for his ability to recollect himself after getting brutally picked apart.
Guida moves up a couple notches in my book for surviving all that punishment and actually making it a split decision. That fucking head kick that diego layed on him was viscious.
I'm thinking "I dont remember Sanchez fighting Stevenson"?!
"...some people thought Evan Tanner was so great and he was a mental reject, dumbass, who died in the desert."
Bummer! Not cool dude.
It is sad to see the OLD guys go out, but the times of 400K to see Chuck Liddell are done, time for the younger guys to step it up, and they have.
people don't like Diego cause he acts weird, but this isn't a fucking beauty contest it's about being a fighter, and you can't deny that.
But you know people are 2 faced, and weird, and stupid, some people thought Evan Tanner was so great and he was a mental reject, dumbass, who died in the desert.
So who cares how people act, to me it is all about drive, desire and skills. Diego has that for days...so does Guida, even in losing he proved he is a badass!
If I was gonna say anyone got overpaid it would be Joe daddy, he isn't on the way up, he is on his way down, that is to much money for a middle of the road curtain puller. Lytle is to old and not good enough, but he deserves more than he got for sure.
Also wanted to mention that Ciesnolevicz was a big let down.
