Seth Petruzelli Contradicts Jeremy Lappen’s Contradictions

Man, who can keep it straight anymore. Quote of the day from Seth Petruzelli on Sherdog’s Savage Dog Show (53:17-53:30):

“I don’t believe that [submission] bonus was there that night. They didn’t say…I’m not sure if that was offered to me that night or not. It might have been offered to other fighters, and stuff like that, but I’m not sure, because they didn’t say anything about a submission bonus to me, no.”

Petruzelli goes on to say that EliteXC is going to wait for things to “blow over” before booking him for another fight, but he should be fighting again in January or February.

I think this is just a case of EliteXC getting caught with their hand in the cookie jar. Seth is just caught in the crossfire, if you guys were true fans you wouldn't give a shit about what was on his myspace or the color of his hair. And if you actually read anything Seth has been happily married for 2 years (to his wife.) I dare any of you to talk shit to ANY fighter like you are now. you'd get stomped. No respect anymore.

UFC Fan, That would be a good caption. Because it does look like he is saying if you are this big, I am game. Boy. To be so street like Kimbo and to be pimped slapped like you came up short to a guy with pink hair and a big mouth,... That is definitely the wort case scenario. Losing to Ken would have been bad but Kimbo Got knocked the F Out by a short jab. Buy a gay guy no less. Kimbo might as well get him some knickers and acquire a british accent. what makes this soo great is they paid seth to stand cause they thought he would get rocked, then it blows up in thier face when kimbo gets owned in a stand up battle. i love it. and why wouldnt seth accept it, this is what he does for a living, im sure he loves the sport but at the end of the day its all for money. my boy fights for king of the cage and he is an expert grappler, they have paid him extra money to stand with a striker for the first round, after the first round, do whatever you want, so this isnt unheard of.

I think he is blowing his chances with a legit organization... basically admitting that he did in fact take a bribe to stand up. Sure the organization are bad for doing it but he ACCEPTED IT.
