I think it is a grand idea. There are still rules which is better than fighting on the streets. They get some training which will make them respect what athletes have to endure, no smokin’ drinking, etc.. Our society are raising whimps who blame others for each others mistakes, getting lawyers involved w/ stupid lawsuits & such. Our kids can’t even play dodgeball because whimpy parents are suing. That to me is a downfall to our society. We have pent up tension & it’s time to vent. I think we will respect each other much more w/ a good old fashioned whoop ass. That being said,

C: The Gracie’s technically arent the the pioneers of MMA. They were the people that made it a necessity to learn atleast some basic jiu jitsu to get by in a fight but the people like pat miletich and others who actually incorporated it all into one are really the pioneers.
