Share Your Favorite Cage Potato Memory During Our Live Third Anniversary Bum Rush Radio Show Podcast and You Could Win a Prize

Just a friendly reminder that we are recording our first interactive version of The Bum Rush Radio Show podcast today to commemorate Cage Potato’s third anniversary this October at 2:00 pm ET.

You can listen live here at 2:00 and call in to join the show using the following instructions:

Dial (724) 444-7444
Enter: 89629 # (Call ID)
Enter: 1 # or your PIN if you have a Talkshoe account.
We will be notified that you are in the queue to talk with us.

Call in on your bosses dime to shoot the shit with Ben, Mike and Chad about all things MMA and to share your fondest Cage Potato memory and you could win one of our CP devil horn shirts.

If we continue to get blacklisted by MMA organizations at the rate we’re going, we may have to switch up our marketing campaign a bit, which means these babies could become collectors items some day.

We’re thinking we may have to go with something like this:

Someone send FBF a shirt. I know it will require some hefty postage to make it all the way down under, but FBF is great for the site. Reading his comments the next day gives me a reason to go back to the previous day's posts. His time zone difference keeps the comments rolling 24/7 on here. That deserves a shirt.

Quick question, is there any way I can purchase cage potato T-shirts, I would def wear a CP shirt around town
fatbellyfrank- October 27, 2010 at 9:51 pm
And I used to love the back and forth between 831 son and UFC Fan, and the epic war that the Thanskgiving day post that actually dared to thank overseas service men and women started, I think that was the most hate I've ever seen for the one article
fatbellyfrank- October 27, 2010 at 9:48 pm
@ Mo, prolly easier if I just go on a bender, then do Don Frye impersonations over the phone while I'm really drunk. I'm gonna need to work out time zones for this one
Turd Furgeson- October 27, 2010 at 1:24 pm
I haven't the technology to take party in any radio shows(computer), but my favorite CP moment was the article wrote about Mike van Arsdale catching chickens on TUF. Man, that had me rollin.
El Guapo- October 27, 2010 at 12:37 pm
Don Frye says favorite moments are for pussies.

War Machine says "f'k a broke assTalkshoe".

That is all.

sametime tommorow works with me.
MoTropolis- October 27, 2010 at 12:30 pm
yea that was actually fun, I havent had that much fun in a chat room since...wait, my lawyer said I still cant talk about that. I would think anything in the evening would be better, as to avoid it clashing with work schedules. Maybe start a forum thread asking regulars what would be the best time for them to interact with little events like this.
RwilsonR- October 27, 2010 at 12:29 pm
My favorite moment was when we all tried to get on a live Bum Rush show for a CP anniversary, but it ended up as a technical shit show, and we just had to chat with each other. That one is sticking in my head, at the moment.

MRuss, sometime before 1:00PM PST(4:00PM) tomorrow.
Mike Russell- October 27, 2010 at 12:24 pm
Hey guys. Sorry for the technical issues today. Everything is now sorted out. We're going to try again tomorrow. The way it works is you can listen live on the call or you will have to wait until it's published on Friday. If it works well, we may even do an aftermath type show etc. etc. after some events in the future. What time would be better for all of you on Thursday?I have an interview with Nate Marquardt for the show at 4:15 pm ET, but we can definitely move things around if there is interest.MRuss

My favorite moment was when I was given my own tag. I may or may not have had an accident in my pants.
El Famous Burrito- October 27, 2010 at 11:44 am
Damn it all!

Can't make it after all.

Fine, my favorite memories are all the various feuds we've had.

The Gus Johnson War.

The battle between CP and Bloody Monocle.

Poor Hunter Jones, who really stepped into a bear trap here. Much LOLs on that one.

Here's to 3 years, and at least 3 more! Huzzah!

El Famous Burrito- October 27, 2010 at 11:25 am
Can you hear the podcast on the phone if you call in?
RwilsonR- October 27, 2010 at 11:23 am
Seems to be working now. Still no audio, yet. Somebody wake up FBF and Drano and get them on this (non)call.
MoTropolis- October 27, 2010 at 11:22 am
k, its back up.
danomite- October 27, 2010 at 11:21 am
well shit, i have to leave now anyway. hopefully i'll be able to listen later if they can ever fix it.
MoTropolis- October 27, 2010 at 11:21 am
Man we had some heavy hitters on there for a minute. If we could get something like this put together for a time when more people arent stuck at work, we could have an epic round table. FBF would prolly need to set his alarm for some time in the middle of the night, or just be on a bender.
danomite- October 27, 2010 at 11:19 am
same here Mo. Ben said he ended it to try to fix the problems.
RwilsonR- October 27, 2010 at 11:19 am
^^^ Same situation.
LargeMidget- October 27, 2010 at 11:18 am
^^^ Same

I cant get back in.
MoTropolis- October 27, 2010 at 11:16 am
I closed out the chat to create an account on talkshoe, but now its says I missed the live chat.
RwilsonR- October 27, 2010 at 11:09 am
@jimbonics - the Fowlkes call was a classic moment!

I also loved when Carwin threatened CP. But then they made friends again.
jimbonics- October 27, 2010 at 10:55 am
I have a meeting in 9 minutes or I'd call in.

My fondest memory is also the most bittersweet.

Flowkes' drunken interview with Logan and Natasha, where they both slammed Koscheck and subsequently got fired.

Then there was MRuss outing some forum shit-talker by posting one of his facebook pictures. The dude had used up ear lobes and looked every bit the winner. Not sure he has posted here since.

Ipecac.
Sakuraba3900- October 27, 2010 at 10:48 am
I'm just throwing this out there but if you have any schmediums of the old or new tees laying around you should send em my way... just a wild thought
El Famous Burrito- October 27, 2010 at 10:45 am
@Fried Taco

That's hilarious. I forgot about that guy. I grew up in Lombard, and I used to work in that industrial park before there was an Xtreme Couture there. Too bad, that would've been great to go there and find some 90 pound scarecrow mopping the floors.
