Watch Shawn Tompkins Sounds Off On Kit Cope on RawVegas.tv
Let’s hope this is the last word on the whole Kit Cope/Gina Carano/Xtreme Couture controversy, at least until that sex tape is “stolen” and we all get to see a bored Carano rolling her eyes at the camera while Cope insists on keeping his socks and wristwatch on. Here Shawn Tompkins makes some excellent points that are fairly obvious but worth repeating, such as: 1) Kit Cope is a nobody, 2) Xtreme Couture fighters regularly kick ass, 3) If the only way you can get your name in the news is to talk about the girl you used to date who is now famous, you’re kind of pathetic.
Nothing we didn’t already know, though you have to like the not-so-veiled threat near the end. With all the badasses at Xtreme Couture, whether you think they were “made” there or not, it’s maybe not the best idea to bash the gym in public. Especially if you are a pretty bad MMA fighter, who, according to Sherdog’s Fight Finder, once lost to Tiki Ghosn via TKO (retirement).

TKO was the mma organization that GSP, Patrick Cote, Davis Loiseau, Jason McDonald, Sahwn Tompkins, Mark Hominick, Chris Orodecki all got their start in. It's based outta Quebec since the fuckin province of Ontario still hasn't legitimized the sport yet.

I'd like to think that Gina is the MMA community's girlfriend. However, that outlook starts to get confusing when I am faced w/ the point that Kit Kope may also be a part of that community. But maybe not for long... I only remember two things about this guy... The only time I ever saw a purple nurple in an MMA setting was during his weighin staredown w/ Kenny Florian. Which he avenged in devastating fashion the next day at their fight. Watch that video.. Kenny put a hurtin' on KK. And yes, of course I mean through your UFC on demand subscription, and not thru the many free sites (which often are taken from there)

RE: TKO (retirement). Cope's fight record on wikipedia gives this result for his bout with Tiki Ghosn: TKO (did not answer bell). Also, I checked the list of fighters on Master Toddy's site, and I don't see Kit Cope listed there. Where does he train these days (since he feels so comfortable insulting Xtreme Couture)?
