why is sherk vs. tibau on the main card with the okami sonnen fight left off? Wow joe stevenson is gonna lose again…guess he’s just gonna play gate keeper for the division. As for shogun, why is he getting a title shot again? He lost to forrest, won a shitty one over the senior citizen of gnp, and knocked out chuck “the glass jaw” liddel. but i digress.

I’m not quite on the Machida bandwagon yet either. Anyone that almost gets triangled by Tito Ortiz isn’t worthy of quite so much praise. Also agree that this card while decent, isn’t that great by any means. The main event is sweet but the only other fight that peaks my interest is on the undercard (okami sonnen)

I think this is a PPV worthy card; I’m a Spencer Fisher fan but I also like Stevenson so it’s tough who to root for in that one. The only thing that’s not worth the PPV is that cheesy poster.

I agree with the competent people here, Shogun is going to get worked.

I’ve been a Shogun fan for a long time, and I believe that Shogun has the balls and the skills to make this an exiciting fight. But Lyoto is on a totally different level, and inless Lyoto falls prey to a swollen ego (ala GSP vs Serra 1) then Shogun is going to get smashed.

Anyone that doesn’t think that this card will be exciting is a fucking scrub. The only fight that isn’t worth paying to watch is the Sherk Tibau fight. It’ll probably be decent, but I’d rather see Okami slap Sonnen around for 15 minutes.

Okami needs to get his shot at Silva after this fight. Will he beat Silva.. most likely not.. but he deserves his shot. At least he will go toe to toe with him. He’s done it once… and he’ll do it again.

I have to agree with agentsmith on this one. Yes the Main Event is good…but not great. Shogun has had a couple lack-luster performances….and I love Machida, but damn the boy just isnt fun to watch. Hopefully the Ben Rothwell vs. Cain Velasquez fight makes the main card, I would like to see who gets a shot at Brock. Not to interested in watching Sean “T-Rex” Sherk fight. Oh well

I just hope that rumor about the Undercard being aired on Spike or whatever before the PPV comes to fruition. Card has a lot of up and coming young talent… plus Yushin Okami destroying Sonnen.

Apart from the title fight, most of the rest of this card is more suited to a Fight Night than a PPV.
