Street Fight of the Day: “Bumblebee” Digs “Big Red” A Shallow, Snowy Grave [VIDEO]

Here at CagePotato HQ, we’ve decided to take a break from our regularly scheduled programming to bring you this street fight video. On the scale of Worst…Street Fight…Ever to Redneck Defends Fiance’s Honor, Wins on Points, we’d have to rank it somewhere above the latter, if only for the decisive, not to mention completely unexpected finish it provides. Plus, an onlooker shouts, “Kick his ass, sea bass!” and there’s even a very audible “F*ck him up!” tossed in for good measure, so this video basically appeals to all audiences.

As you can see, the fight looks to be pretty even until kid in the shorts (a.k.a “Bumblebee”) smartens up and uses his opponent’s fight attire against him. It’s all downhill from there, as “Bumblebee” sinks in a guillotine before tossing “Big Red” to the frozen tundra. But the best part comes on Big Red’s way down to the frigid earth, as our boy Bumbles promptly delivers a kick that nearly caves his foe’s face right in, which is kinda what I thought the UFC 152 main event was going to look like after Belfort bum-rushed Jones and came within inches of having himself DQ’d.

Sign the Bumblebee Kid to a TUF contract. Epic finishing skills.
KarmaAteMyCat- September 27, 2012 at 7:39 am
That was some fucking sweet shit in the end. Tossed him like a football and punted him home.

@RSparrow ... That's actually very good advice. I think that would pretty much take care of it. Skateboarding IS a crime.
NomadRip- September 26, 2012 at 9:12 am
He was not a downed opponent, and clearly the ref didn't see the tap.
RSparrow- September 25, 2012 at 9:29 pm
Tell your kids not to skateboard and you're fine. Shit happens.

I actually had my shirt pulled over my head just like that in a fight once, then the guy went to town for about 5 minutes or so before he became tired... I got up took off my shirt and he ran away lol... Though to be honest that was fortunate for me since my legs were gone and i was not far from being knocked out. I learned a valuable lesson that day, you can win just by not giving up and always take your shirt off before a fight.

Great fight in the snow. Totally looked like a hockey fight with effective kees in the mix. That kick at the very end was placed perfect and would make Wand happy.
macreadysshack- September 25, 2012 at 8:56 pm
I didn't think about it until he mentioned it but I'm with 'Jon Fitch and . . .'. Especially since A. the kid in red tapped so obviously and the other kid could not care less and B. after the CHILD in red got choked out, he got kicked in the face and then hit his head hard on ice. You guys get your panties in a wad about some friend of yours getting called 'cunty' by Rogain and then you post this as entertainment? Nary a cautionary note to be found? No 'hey, we thought this was funny once but DON'T EVER DO THIS'? Sanctimonious? Methinks the Penn doth protest too much. Just like the real Penn.
DannyDarko99- September 25, 2012 at 4:06 pm
Looked like a hockey fight for the most part.
Jugger- September 25, 2012 at 2:46 pm
Seemed like a pretty even fight... right up to the groin shot.
Pen Fifteen- September 25, 2012 at 2:25 pm
Also, anyone else catch the guy calling for a DDT when yellow is working the guillotine?
blackboxmma- September 25, 2012 at 2:16 pm
Looked like a 40 yard punt
ripyourfuckingheadoff- September 25, 2012 at 2:01 pm
If you are sure you are going to throw down... always take your shirt off.
ineedmystapler- September 25, 2012 at 2:00 pm
Pretty sure he tapped out around the 45 sec mark... if so, yellow should of let him go.
Pen Fifteen- September 25, 2012 at 1:51 pm
What indicates to you this fight was "staged"? In the era of smartphones and youtube (may that's a place where you could actually attribute "responsibility"), it's almost unthinkable that any fight witnessed by spectators would not be recorded for posterity, humor value, or whatever. I agree that I'd hate for my kid to be the giver or receiver of such a kid...and that's why my kid (a girl, btw) is gonna learn the value of the double-leg takedown.
Jon Fitch and Exciting in the same sentence- September 25, 2012 at 1:44 pm
@ Pen Fifteen
look, kids are going fight. it is what it is. But, when kids start "staging" fights and bringing their video cameras along and posting videos up on the net hoping cagepotato or another mma-related site will post their fight video...that's where I think RESPONSIBILITY comes into play. like I said, kids fight but don't encourage them to fight by posting videos of their fights. I'm a father. I’m saying this as a grown man. I'm thinking what if my kid was on the receiving end of that kick, or if it was my kid who would kick someone in the face like that. kids have better things to do than brutally beat the shit out each other. and by the way...I fucking hate whales.
Pen Fifteen- September 25, 2012 at 1:36 pm
And JM, how dare you leave out Pussy v. Bitch in your pantheon of CP-certified classic street fights.
jasonmoles- September 25, 2012 at 1:33 pm
As the old saying goes, "They said they were 18."
The12ozCurls- September 25, 2012 at 1:50 pm
The old saying goes: "SHE said SHE was 18"
Fried Taco- September 25, 2012 at 2:06 pm
Unless there was more than one "she". Or whatever moles is into.
The12ozCurls- September 26, 2012 at 8:24 am
True that.
Pen Fifteen- September 25, 2012 at 1:33 pm
@Jon Fitch
Please, spare us the sanctimonious "save the whales" bullshit. Big Red probably spilled his Mountain Dew on Bumblebee's shirt in the cafeteria, or maybe he called his mom a skank, or maybe he stole his bong, etc. Kids having sloppy street-fights has nothing to do with wanting to be cagefighters and everything to do with them being hormonaly volatile human beings.
fightfan- September 25, 2012 at 1:28 pm
I tend to agree with "Jon Fitch and Exciting in the same sentence"

but that was some funny shit from "Fried taco"
Jon Fitch and Exciting in the same sentence- September 25, 2012 at 1:17 pm
I hope this is the last time you post a fight of CHILDREN fighting each other. Pretty disgusting stuff. There's a big difference between professional adult fighters being paid to fight in a sanctioned match with a ref and medical personnel on hand. Cagepotato posting videos of children fighting, and one of them getting kicked in the face while blinded by his shirt and on the ground for "entertainment" is pretty disgusting. Why not leave this stuff alone and not offer encouragement to kids hoping to get their "UFC Style Fights" on these websites?
Fried Taco- September 25, 2012 at 1:13 pm
Thanks to the replay, we are able to see that last kick was not illegal. Now go put some ice on it, dude.
