— Though it was initially rumored that Fedor Emelianenko could be out-of-action for 4-6 months due to a jacked-up left thumb he suffered in the first round of his fight against Brett Rogers, his condition has been upgraded. Sherdog reports that the Last Emperor underwent surgery yesterday to fix his injury, and will have a half-cast removed in just 4-6 weeks:
— Cristiane “Cris Cyborg” Santos is expected to make her first Strikeforce title defense against Marloes Coenen on January 30th in Miami, according to MMA Weekly. Santos was originally slated to compete on last Saturday’s “Fedor vs. Rogers” card, but her return was pushed back after she suffered an injury during the 2009 ADCC‘s in September.
— When Deray Davis and Mark Miller‘s scheduled fight was eliminated from the “Fedor vs. Rogers” undercard at the last minute due to time constraints, the fighters lost money from sponsorships and were reportedly only paid their to-show purses. Following a public outcry for the fighters’ fair treatment, Strikeforce explained that Davis and Miller were paid their win bonuses, but only after the organization unsuccessfully tried to move their fight onto a local Chicago card. Their sponsorship money, unfortunately, still went up in smoke.
— A month-and-a-half ago, we officially banned the pathetic and laughable practice of fighters offering to get it on for free. M-1 hype-man Jerry Millen apparently did not get that particular memo:
Sounds good, Jer-Bear. And maybe after that, you can go fuck yourself for no money.

One two seriously you are dumbfuck and you don't ever need to type here again, you are delusional.
