One Fighting Championships has seen some ups and downs since its inception last year. After a successful debut event, they hit a slight bump in the road by agreeing to take part in the charade that is Bob Sapp. Thankfully, they’ve more than made up for that mistake by signing Korean Model Park Si Hyun to carry the cards for all of its events, starting with the upcoming Babalu/Manhoef headlined One FC 3. This former “race queen” is among the most popular and successful models in South Korea, and rightfully so. Props to WorldofMMA for turning us on to Debbie Oh, BAMMA USA‘s latest ring girl acquisition. A graduate of Cal State LA, Debbie enjoys snowboarding, wakeboarding, and hiking, and she’ll be making her ring girl debut at Badbeat 5 on March 16th. Fist-bump to Bleacher Report MMA for turning us on to Abby Poblador, a distractingly beautiful Filipina model who’s one of the ring girls for Guam’s Pacific Xtreme Combat MMA promotion. The 24-year-old has appeared in FHM, Maxim, and Playboy, and is a veteran of the car-show circuit. Props to Fightlinker for turning us on to Mika Nagano, a 4-2 veteran of the Smackgirl and Jewels promotions in Japan. The 25-year-old fighter was an amateur grappling champion before turning to MMA, and has won her last three fights by armbar. She’s also quite a looker, and used her natural charm to promote her last Jewels fight with a semi-nude photo-shoot.
