Video: Jens Pulver Teaches ‘Attack of the Show’ Host How to Be Less of a P*ssy

(Video courtesy of G4)

In case you forgot, Jens Pulver is fighting this weekend at MMA Fight Pit: Genesis in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He’s taking on tough 14-3 WEC veteran Coty “Ox” Wheeler, whose only losses came against Ian McCall, Charlie Valencia and Will Campuzano.

Jens has literally been living in Jeff Curran’s gym in Chicago for the past 10 weeks to prepare for the bout and G4′s Attack of the Show host Blair Herter recently paid him a visit at the facility to get some tips on how to fight.

UFC in Negotiations to Buy Majority Stake In G4 Network

(Now we know how the void left by All My Children going off the air in the fall will be filled.)

The Wall Street Journal is reporting that the UFC is currently in negotiations with NBCUniversal to purchase a majority stake of its G4 network.

According to the report, (which quotes different sources who have claim that negotiations are in the beginning and midway points and others who say that the story is just smoke, but no fire as the UFC is talking with several networks to get an idea of what options are available), the deal would provide the promotion with a new home for its programming when its current deals with Versus and Spike TV conclude at the end of this year. Apparently Spike has made initial high monetary contract demands of the UFC to renew a deal with the specialty channel whose growth can be attributed in large part due to runaway success of The Ultimate Fighter.

G4′s asking price and the percentage of ownership the UFC is looking for are not yet known.

Videos: Kaitlin Young vs. Meisha Tate, CP on G4, Coconut Fail

Yeah, it’s an old fight, but thanks to MMA Fight Girls, I just saw it for the first time — here’s Kaitlin Young’s Cro Cop-esque head-kick KO of Miesha Tate during an eight-woman HOOKnSHOOT tournament last November. The fight starts at the 1:45 mark, and is over 30 seconds later. (Young won her first fight that night in 22 seconds, and the tournament final in 53 seconds.) Kaitlin is slated to fight Sarah Kaufman at EliteXC’s next event in Reno on November 8th.

(Skip to the 5:45 mark for the goods.) was just shouted out on G4′s Attack of the Show during a discussion about Seth Petruzelli’s TKO of Kimbo Slice and EliteXC’s bribery of Seth Petruzelli. Co-host Kevin Pereira described us as “one of [his], like, favorite MMA blogs.” Cool!

Bonus awesomeness after the jump…
