When asked by the sunlight-fearing interviewer if a bout with Georges St-Pierre is on the horizon since his training partner Jake Shields lost to the UFC 170-pound kingpin over the weekend, the Strikeforce welterweight champ didn’t beat around the bush.
“I didn’t know if they’d be talking about [a fight between me and Georges] or what, but you should let me get in there with that guy, you know? They had him in there with my partner and look what happened. to him. What do you think’s gonna happen if they put him in there with me? I don’t know. I’d like to start gettin’ paid up here,” Nick says. “I’d like to get that fight or I’d like to make somethin’ happen here — somethin’ different, somethin’ big, you know? I’m tired of the same thing over and over again. It’s gettin’ old. This is gettin’ old for me. That’s just how I feel.”Read More ADD COMMENTS (40) DIGG THIS
