Miesha Tate’s Latest ‘ESPN Body Issue’ Photos Give Us Slightly More Ass, Hand-Bra

(Photo by Ben Watts for ESPN The Magazine. Click image for full-size version)

We’re not sure if these were supposed to be released or what*, but CP reader Travis S. found two more nude photos from Miesha Tate‘s “ESPN Body Issue” shoot buried deep within ESPN’s website, and we just had to share them. (The second one is after the jump.) As you can see, the photo above shows a much-more generous helping of ass-crack than the first “Body Issue” photo of Tate that was released over the weekend, and the one below is of the classic hand-bra style, with those pink wraps mysteriously missing. They’re all shot from the same profile angle, but who knows, maybe there’s a more varied selection out there somewhere. So keep searching, perverts!

* If they weren’t supposed to be released, there’s no need to sue us, ESPN lawyers. A simple cease-and-desist will do just fine.

Oh, Praise the Lord: Miesha Tate to Appear in ESPN’s Next ‘Body Issue’

(“For this first shot, Miesha, I’m going to need you to disregard everything you know about the cleanliness of weight room floors.” Photo via MMAJam.)

Well, if there’s one good thing that has come out of the Cat Zingano-knee injury debacle, it’s this.

Likely to promote her coaching gig and subsequent rematch with Ronda Ronda on the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter, MMAJunkie is reporting that Miesha “Cupcake” Tate will be featured in ESPN’s fifth edition of The Body Issue, which hits stands July 12. July twelfth. That’s JULY 12.

[VIDEO] Ronda Rousey ‘All Access’ – Episode Two

(Beneath that skin-tight cat suit lies a quiet, innocent girl who just wants some alone time. And beneath her lies a limb-destroying human bear trap.)

Have you ever wondered what it must be like behind-the-scenes of a staredown for a fight promo? Surely the tension must be insurmountable, with members of each fighter’s crew present on set to separate the two between each take. Well, if the latest Showtime episode of All Access: Ronda Rousey is any indication, the fighters actually choose to discuss how bad they smell to one another, all the while trying to remain serious while the camera is rolling.

Challenger Sarah Kaufman is the first to break the ice, declaring that her “left armpit smells,” whereas Ronda admits that she probably smells “like leprosy” as a result of her catsuit-clad antics she participated in just moments before. We know, we know, you all just went from six to midnight.

Anyway, so begins the second episode of All Access, which delves further into the training strategies of both the champion and the challenger. Where Rousey is content to hit the pads with Richard Perez in between sessions at Team Cesar Gracie, Kaufman prefers to just bang on the drum kit a little and punch bitches in the face. An interesting, if not unorthodox strategy.

And things get really interesting around the six-minute mark, where Ronda receives the first copies of her ESPN “The Body” Issue. Even she seems impressed by her own hotness, as well as the fact that ESPN showed far more butt than she expected (Author’s note: Thanks guys, it’s good to know all those “incentives” we sent you were not in vain.)

[VIDEO] Ronda Rousey ‘All Access’ on Showtime – Episode One

(No, this is not the ‘All Access’ video, but rather a behind-the-scenes video of her ESPN ‘The Body’ shoot. Go ahead and complain. I DARE YOU.)

“Everything you need in a fighter, she has, yet she’s a woman and she’s beautiful. The Ronda Rousey package is different than any other package we’ve ever seen.”

So says UFC President Dana White as he leads us into Showtime’s “All Access” look at the Strikeforce women’s bantamweight champion, Olympic Judo bronze medalist, and occasional TMZ host Ronda Rousey, who in just over two years has managed to almost effortlessly ascend to the sport’s highest level. And it’s hard to deny that “Rowdy” is an athlete unlike many, if not all of her counterparts — a hot female Jon Jones if you will — whose “kill or be killed” outlook on life (and aforementioned looks) has led her to achieve massive success in easily the most overlooked facet of MMA. We’re talking of course, about the ladies.

Detailing everything from Rousey’s heated title-earning feud with Meisha Tate (Spoiler: It ended like all of Rousey’s fights do) to her (gulp) nude shoot for ESPN’s The Body issue to her preparation for her upcoming title defense against Sarah Kaufman, “All Access” truly lives up to it’s name. Showtime takes us inside the champion’s house, which looks like an average episode of Hoarders, and snags interviews with everyone from Gina Carano, who Ronda admits convinced her to drop trau for ESPN in the first place (as if we needed to thank Gina for anything else) to former HooknShoot Grand Prix winner Julie Kedzie.

So check out the full video after the jump, and let us know what you think.

Quote of the Day: Ronda Rousey Would Beat the Crap out of Kim Kardashian

Props: ESNEWS

I know that Ronda Rousey has been training with the Diaz brothers. I didn’t realize that they were also teaching her how to give an interview. Okay, so maybe Ronda has always been the female Nick Diaz when it comes to these sorts of things. But spending time with the real Nick Diaz has really made this take a turn for the hilarious.

Elie Seckbach caught up with Ronda Rousey at the ESPN Body Issue wrap-up party for an interview. At the beginning, Rousey is showing blatant hostility towards her interviewers over their apparent question about what celebrities she would like to fight [Ed Note: Come on, Nick. You mean you didn't teach her that it's their job to instigate fights quite a bit?]. After attempting to avoid the question, Rousey manages to think of a celebrity she’d like to fight: Kim “Famous For Sucking Dick” Kardashian.

In her own words:

ESPN has released the 2012 edition of their “Body Issue,” and Strikeforce bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey is not only featured nude in the massive pictorial, she actually landed one of the covers! Holy crap! Check out Ronda’s frontal shot after the jump — which reveals a tattoo that I bet you didn’t know existed — and let us know if the photos met your high expectations.

Also? My God this Maya Gabeira.

Ronda Rousey Will Be the Next Naked MMA Star in ESPN’s ‘Body Issue’

(Upon hearing the news, Tito Ortiz leaked another dick-pic.)

According to a new report from MMAJunkie, Strikeforce women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey will be appearing sans-clothing in ESPN’s next “Body Issue,” which is convenient since we spend so much time picturing her naked anyway. The Body Issue’s parade of naked athletes has previously included Gina Carano (nice!), Jon Jones (not my cup of tea, but whatever!), and Evangelista and Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos (FUUUUUUUU-). Look out for the mag sometime this fall.

More Gina Carano + Randy’s Cauliflower Ear From ESPN The Magazine’s ‘Body Issue’

Now that we’ve seen Gina Carano‘s semi-nudity on the cover of ESPN The Magazine‘s inaugural "Body Issue" (which hits newsstands on Friday, btw), it’s time to take a look at the photos inside. Two more shots have leaked — this sultry photo of Gina posing in her normal workout attire of sports bra, heavy eye-makeup, and hot-shorts, and the picture after the jump of Randy Couture‘s beloved cauliflower ear. (Warning: It’s not quite as sexy.) More naked athletes can be seen here.

Speaking of Gina, director Steven Soderbergh — who cast Carano in the lead role of his next flick, Knockout — had this to say in a recent interview with Empire:

“My feeling was, If I don’t do this, somebody else will. I felt, somebody is going to look at her and go, ‘She should be in a movie!’ And I felt like, Why shouldn’t I be the person saying that?…If you start following the female mma fighters, Gina pops out pretty noticeably. I thought it was a fascinating combination of appearance and activity… I’d been wanting to make a spy action film for a while, but hadn’t really determined what I was going to bring to it that would distinguish it from the traditional approach. Then I thought, ‘Why don’t I just build it around her? She can actually break people in half.’”

Gina Carano Semi-Nudity to Hit Newsstands on 10/9

Gina Carano sexy weigh-ins

A public service announcement, via MMA Fanhouse:

Gina Carano and Randy Couture will be among the 30 male and female professional athletes posing nude or semi-nude in ESPN The Magazine’s first "Body Issue," which hits newsstands on Oct. 9. Couture’s cauliflower ear will be the focus of his spread and Carano will be posing semi-nude in "The Bodies We Want" photo section.

"You really get an idea of everything these guys and gals go through and the toll it takes sometimes," said Sue Hovey, the executive editor of ESPN The Magazine. "Randy has a very interesting looking ear, known as a cauliflower ear, and I think that when you’ll see it, you’ll realize that this guy goes through a lot to do what he loves."

Major names from the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, Nascar, tennis and boxing will also be featured in the special issue, which will be released once a year. And yes, private parts will be strategically covered up.

As CageWriter points out, not all of the athletes in the issue are people you’d necessarily want to see naked. But still, Gina Carano, with strategically covered up private parts. Let’s hope that means lots and lots of hand bra.

***

Gina Carano (born April 16, 1982) was the first crossover star in women’s mixed martial arts, and was often referred to as "The Face of Women’s MMA." The daughter of Dallas Cowboys backup quarterback Glenn Carano, Gina was born near Dallas and raised in Las Vegas, where she went on to study psychology at UNLV. She began her career as a Muay Thai kickboxer before transitioning to MMA, and went on to win her first seven bouts. Her last fight, against Cristiane "Cris Cyborg" Santos in August 2009, was the first women’s bout to headline a major MMA event. Since her TKO loss to Santos, Gina Carano has been focusing on acting, and will soon appear as the lead in Haywire, an action film directed by Steven Soderbergh. Carano also appeared in the Oxygen reality series Fight Girls, and starred as "Crush" in the 2008 reboot of American Gladiators on NBC. Photos from her appearance in ESPN: The Magazine‘s "Body Issue" can be seen here, here, and here.
