We’ve all seen him. The guy who works for a construction company in Boise, Idaho who has never thrown a punch in his life, but insists on throwing up a fist every time he poses for a photo with a fighter or anyone else even loosely linked to the sport.

Just stop. You look ridiculous and even the fighter (reporter, ring announcer, cutman etc.) in the photo with you is shaking his head, wondering why the hell you do that. You aren’t a fighter and you aren’t a kid. Do you pretend you’re playing air guitar when you get your picture taken with Slash? Do you pretend you’re performing fellatio when you pose for a photo with a porn star? Yes? Well then you have bigger problems than we thought.

Don’t ask us to explain it, but whenever fighters and fans get together for a group photo, at least one person has to raise their fist like a tough guy. But instead of dropping the ban-hammer on this bizarre phenomenon, we decided to compile the most ridiculous, hilarious, and straight-up awesome MMA fighter fist-pose photos that we could find.
