Holly Holm
Holly “The Preacher’s Daughter” Holm was a world boxing champion in three weight classes before she switched to MMA. Trained by Greg Jackson and Mike Winkeljohn in Albuquerque, she was unbeaten when she faced Ronda Rousey at UFC 193 in 2015.
She outboxed Rousey and knocked her out with a head kick in the second round to win the bantamweight title, one of the biggest upsets in UFC history, then lost it to Miesha Tate. She later challenged for the featherweight title against Germaine de Randamie and Cris Cyborg. CagePotato covered the Rousey upset in depth.
