GIF of the Day: ‘The Reem’ and Fez Are Not Impressed by LMFAO’s Antics

(Going sleeveless next to Alistair must be a humbling experience, huh Fez?)

First of all, no, we aren’t big LMFAO fans and that’s not how we discovered this little gem. It was brought to our attention by a Danish reader named Jacob Hansen who sent us a link to the video.

Now that we have that out of the way, we want answers how this strange pairing came to be. Did LMFAO put out a call for the scariest dude on the beach in L.A. that day and Alistair just happened to be chillin’ there with Handy Manny? There’s got to be an explanation. Until then, just take in the bizarre clip and wonder what they told “The Demolition Man” to act like for the shoot. Points for noticing Wilmer’s finger-snapping nod to MJ’s “Beat It” vid at the end.

If you can stomach listening to the song that accompanies this thing, check out the video after the jump.

Behold, the Astonishing Awfulness of Arianny Celeste’s ‘Debut Single’

(Vid: YouTube/DEMusicGroup)

Alright, we take back all those jokes we made about people who think the world will end in 2012. The apocalypse is clearly upon us, as it has just come to our attention that Arianny Celeste apparently fancies herself some kind of singer now. Just let that news sink in for a moment before reading on … We knew she dabbled, but surely these new apparently professional aspirations can only mean the end of western civilization as we know it, right? I mean there are bad ideas, and then there is the fucking Titanic. There is the Hindenburg. There is leading your army into Russia in the dead of winter. Allowing this attractive, halfway famous girl who has no doubt always considered herself pretty good at karaoke to think she can try her hand at making actual “music” ranks right up there with the worst of them.

Nonetheless, there’s our beloved AC starring in the above video, introducing a “sneak peek” of her “debut single” titled “Fight to Love Me” (Get it? Because she’s a UFC Octagon girl …) which she promises will be out soon with the help of something called the DE Music Group. At first, we thought it must be a joke. The lyrics here are (naturally) cartoonishly bad, the “beat” sounds like somebody made it on a hacked version of some Russian production software from the 80s and if you don’t squint a little bit and lean away from the computer every time she tries to hit a high note, well, you don’t have your speakers turned up loud enough.

Videos: Did Diego Sanchez Get His Own Theme Song?

There are so many things wrong with this music video — “Nightmare,” by Illfluent (get it, like affluent, only ill’er?) — that all you can do is hope it’s a bad joke.  It’s just guys who look like the poor man’s Kevin Federline rapping about their vague fighting prowess while on the other half of a split screen we see the same footage of Diego Sanchez over and over again.

It also includes classic lines like: “All glory to God when I go in to war/Even if I lose the battle I’ll be back for more,” and “I’m the best of the best/You don’t mess with the king/You want your face cut open with championship rings?”

Championship rings?  Either these guys did absolutely no research before writing this rhyme (and for the last time, you gotta research your raps, people), or they’re referring to Fedor’s WAMMA ring, which means they did entirely too much research.  Either way, it’s official.  Worst MMA-related music video ever.  Somehow it’s only 4:15 long, though it feels so, so much longer.  Take notice fighters: this is what happens when your theme song is composed by someone other than Jimmy Hart.

After the jump, some actual interview footage with Sanchez and Stevenson from last night’s “Countdown” show, via ESPN.
