If You Like Fetish Porn, You Might Enjoy Rin Nakai’s Latest Pancrase Promos, You Pervert

(Props: YouTube.com/PancraseChannel. Tip via MiddleEasy)

Look, we know Rin Nakai isn’t for everybody. As an Asian woman who’s built like Bolo Yeung, the undefeated Queen of Pancrase appeals to a very specific fetish. But she’s never been afraid of playing up her unique look, and over the last few months Rin has been recording short promo videos for Pancrase’s YouTube channel, some of which feature her pumping iron while wearing very little clothing. Or bathing. Or just sitting there drinking coffee. It’s weird stuff, to be sure — but if the goal is to promote her fights, I guess it’s better than nothing. We’ve picked out some of Rin Nakai’s more notable clips, which continue after the jump. Enjoy, if you’re the kind of person who enjoys that sort of thing.

[VIDEO] Mark Hunt Brings the Pain/Emotions in New ‘UFC on FUEL 8′ Promo

We don’t know about you, but there are so many UFC events being strewn across so many different channels these days that we are starting to forget some of them even exist until about a week out. It’s not something we’re complaining about, but by a show of hands, how many of you realized that UFC on FUEL 8 is going down this weekend in Japan? Well, it is, and it features a headlining fight between Brian Stann and Wanderlei Silva that all of the world’s leading scientists have predicted will end inside of three rounds.

Scheduled just one fight before Stann vs. Silva, however, is a heavyweight contest that shines a spotlight on two of the division’s most unexpected rising stars: Mark Hunt and Stefan Struve. After suffering brutal knockout defeats at the hands of Junior Dos Santos, Roy Nelson, and Travis Browne, many MMA pundits were content to write off Struve as an upper-level gatekeeper who simply wasn’t title-contender material and probably never would be. However, following his most recent TKO victory over the then-undefeated prospect in Stipe Miocic at UFC on FUEL 5, Struve established himself as a legitimate threat in the heavyweight division, one who would make his case for a future title shot with a win this weekend.

But perhaps no fighter in the UFC possesses a greater comeback story than Hunt, who saw his career resurrected in the UFC following a six fight losing streak between 2006-2010. In the time since, Hunt has collected three straight wins in the octagon and even survived a fight with Cheick Kongo with both testicles intact. Despite his introverted nature, “The Super Samoan” has become an inspirational figure if there ever was one, and that inspiration takes center stage in the latest UFC on FUEL 8 promo.

We’ve placed the video above, so check it out and let us know if Hunt’s inspirational story will somehow help him overcome the 12.5 inch reach disadvantage he will be facing against the 6’11″ Struve this weekend. My guess is it won’t, but where inspiration oft fails, an atomic butt drop usually succeeds.

[VIDEO] The ‘UFC on FUEL TV 5: Struve vs. Miocic’ Promo That Will Remind You That This Event Exists

Even though many MMA promoters are quick to resort hyperbole when talking about an upcoming card, I think it’s pretty safe to say that UFC on FUEL TV 5: Struve vs. Miocic is the most highly anticipated card of all time. Headlined by young, promising heavyweights Stefan Struve and Stipe Miocic, the winner will undoubtedly be at least two more fights away from a title shot. Combined with the co-main event scrap between Dan Hardy and Amir Sadollah, a showdown between Duane Ludwig and Che Mills and the UFC debut of Gunnar Nelson, it’s no wonder that the fans can’t stop talking about this event. Hell, this event is so highly anticipated that one of the fighters on the undercard retired two days ago, presumably fearing he was unworthy of being associated with the best card in UFC history.

Before we go any further, if you guys could take a second to critique the new Cagepotato.com Sarcastic Font it would be greatly appreciated.

The UFC released an official promo to get the fans acquainted with Stefan Struve and Stipe Miocic. In this video, we learn that aside from being really tall, Stefan Struve is a human destroyer who is part of the new generation of fighters. The undefeated Stipe Miocic, meanwhile, tells us that his mind is his weapon. Okay, so it’s a little cliché, but Struve vs. Miocic should be a great fight between two young, hungry fighters, which this video captures pretty well. Behold:

Fedor-Henderson is Officially Official for 30 July

VidProps: TheAzyunyh2

Now that contracts have been signed and announcements have been made, we can officially start looking forward to seeing Fedor Emelianenko and Dan Henderson go at it later this summer. Sure, there’s no title on the line, and sure, there’s not much of anything on the line other than bragging rights, but according to a memo sent out to all MMA media and bloggers back in 2003, we are required to be excited anytime Fedor is set to fight, even if there are exactly zero fights announced for the rest of the card.

The promo trailer is a tried and true tool used to raise excitement for future matches, and it’s one tool that amateurs — by which we mean unpaid fans — usually outshine the pros. This is because, just like Mom’s cooking and anything that is still produced by hand, it’s made with love. Watch this video of Fedor and Henderson during their respective ups and downs over the past decade, and tell us you can’t feel the love. It’s that fuzzy feeling you get when the music syncs up just right and you feel tempted to jump up and fist pump.

Whatever you do, don’t jump out of your seat and fist pump at work! Everyone in the cubicle farm will see you, and you’re supposed to be working extra hard to make up for slacking off since last Wednesday. Just watch quietly and feel the love. Sure, it may feel like you’re just watching Fedor knock Brett Rogers’ face sideways, but believe us: it’s love.

Dream Is Seriously Switching to a Cage, Promises Visually Stunning/Totally Weird Promo Video

(Props: MMA Fanhouse)

If we’ve learned anything by obsessively following MMA, it’s that a change in fighting surface is usually a sign that an organization is in serious trouble.  So when we saw this promo video for Dream.12 promising to “appease the wrath of God in rage” by putting their October 25 event in a cage, we got a little worried.  For several reasons, really.  Never let it be said that the Dream art director is afraid to take risks, but we have to wonder whether the decision to switch to a cage is a) permanent, and b) a sign of desperation.

We also have to wonder what Dream’s basis is for advertising Alistair Overeem’s participation.  “The Demolition Man” is fighting in K-1 this weekend, and then he’s rumored to be going back to Holland for the Golden Glory ten-year anniversary show on October 17.   It’s hard to imagine that Overeem and his recovering hand would sign up for three fights in less than a month.  If we ask ourselves which party is most likely to be knowingly misleading people about what their next event will consist of, we’re probably going to say it’s the same people who made the weird artsy promo video about a wrathful God and the ways in which an island nation might appease Him.
