That top photo of a brave Strikeforce/Rockstar ring girl staring down Andre Galvao in Jorge Patino’s absence at the Strikeforce: Houston weigh-ins immediately became one of our favorite MMA images of the year. So we were psyched when MMAFightGirls came up with her name. The sexy blonde is Kelli Hutcherson, a 21-year-old California girl who has also modeled for Metal Mulisha, Muscle Milk, and Transworld Motorcross. According to this profile/photo gallery, Kelli enjoys Mexican food, bro-comedies and spending money; she gogo-dances on the side, and was once arrested and taken to jail "for something so stupid." (Yeah, well, you shouldn’t have been blowing those bubbles.) While cruising the nominees for the third annual World Mixed Martial Arts Awards, we noticed an unfamiliar name in the "Ring Girl of the Year" category. Battling it out with Arianny Celeste, Chandella Powell, Brittney Palmer, and Rachelle Leah is Natalie Skyy, a model/actress from Campbell, California, who has held round-cards for Strikeforce and Shark Fights. If you feel that Natalie is the greatest ring girl of 2010, you can vote for her here until November 26th. Winners in all the categories will be announced during a live ceremony at the Pearl Theater in Las Vegas on December 1st. When the UFC brought out Brittny Ward as a guest Octagon Girl at last weekend’s UFC 119 event in Indianapolis, the fan reception was uniformly positive. Most of you seem to feel that the leggy 20-year-old model should be hired as a permanent member of the UFC’s ring girl stable, even if one of the current OG’s has to be let go, particularly the one who isn’t Arianny Celeste. We have our fingers crossed that Dana White & Co. will do the right thing and hire Brittny. Props to MMAHilo.com for turning us on to Melissa Jo, an X-1 ring girl who originally hails from Kentucky, currently resides in Texas, and bills herself as "Southern Belle With a Twist." The "twist" in Melissa’s case is an edgy look that suggests she might go shot-for-shot with you at the bar, then leave you in a bathtub full of ice with a missing kidney. Not that we have a problem with that. Just be vigilant, is all we’re saying. While perusing MMA Worldwide’s latest issue, I came across the lovely Sarah McDowd, an Anaheim-based model who picked up the magazine’s most recent "Ms. MMA Worldwide" title. Among her looooong list of credits, Sarah has shot for Affliction/Sinful, No Fear, RockStar Energy, pretty much every car magazine ever published, and was a "Maxim Hometown Hottie" semi-finalist last year. M-1 Global has begun searching for new ring girls via a new contest open to only Russian women. Although we’re not quite sure what the site is about since we don’t speak Russian, the photos give off a feel of one of those annoying pop-up mail order bride ads, so unless you want to end up with one of these ladies (or their fatter, uglier facsimile) on your doorstep in 6-8 weeks, we don’t suggest clicking through the site.

Not that there’s anything wrong with ordering a bride from the Internet if any of you have done so, just be careful we hear the Russian mafia’s enforcer is a tough SOB whose only weaknesses are soft-serve and triangle chokes.

The UFC announced last night that Rachelle Leah — the former Octagon Girl, Playboy cover model, and 8th hottest woman in MMA — will be back at her old ring-girl gig for one night only at UFC 111, March 27th in Newark. No word yet on if she’s filling in for Arianny Celeste (#2) or Chandella Powell (unranked), or if it’ll be a threesome. In honor of this blessed occasion, here are some pics of Rachelle that we didn’t run the last time we featured her. Because there’s nothing more to tell you, and what else are we gonna do?

God bless those jerks at Fight! Magazine.  They finally stopped throwing wild parties long enough to upload some photos from their extensive library on to their website.  Yeah, there’s a lot of good fight pics, but the best part is the ring girl spreads that you’ll find in every issue.  That’s how we found out about Danielle Loveland, a ring girl for TUFFNUFF who appeared in their February 2009 issue.

Things you should know about Danielle: 1) She used to be a lifeguard at the pool at the Palms in Las Vegas, 2) She’s "been a gymnast and a cheerleader my whole life pretty much. I’m real athletic – very flexible," and 3) her personal website contains some very NSFW (that means naked) photos.  Check out her MySpace page if you feel like you need to know more about her interests.

Maybe Arianny Celeste released these stunning new photos in an attempt to steal back some of the MMA news attention that’s currently being heaped on Octagon Girl newcomer Logan Stanton — we’re not exactly sure where they came from — but at any rate, they started circulating the Internet last night, and we truly appreciate it; props to the UG and Fightlinker for the early finds. Arianny Celeste (born November 12, 1985) has been a UFC Octagon Girl since 2006. Born and raised in Las Vegas, Arianny is of Mexican and Filipino descent. She has modeled professionally since the age of 15, and previously attended UNLV, where she majored in fitness management and nutrition. Among her many magazine appearances, Arianny Celeste was featured on the cover of the May 2010 issue of Maxim, and was featured in the November 2010 issue of Playboy. Besides her duties as a UFC ring girl, Arianny also hosts the UFC Ultimate Insider web series.
