Gallery: Fedor Loves His Kitteh and Seven Other Photos of ‘The Last Emperor’ Embracing His Inner Child

(In mother Russia, this is what tough looks like.)

Years from now when scientists dissect the brain of “The Last Emperor” they will likely discover that on one side was a cybergenetic processor similar to the one found in a Terminator unit, while on the other was half of a child’s brain.

Fedor seems to get great pleasure out of the juxtaposition of smashing people in the face and playing with toys. He’s what is scientifically referred to as  ”a manchild,” and there’s nothing wrong with that. Who doesn’t secretly dream of being part Billy Madison and part Steven Seagal sometimes?

Anyway, check out some other photos of Fedor embracing his his inner child after the jump.

Fedor Emelianenko: ‘I Think Jeff Monson is a Game Opponent’

Next weekend, “The Last Emperor” Fedor Emelianenko (32-4) will look to prove he still knows how to win fights, squaring off against the fellow MMA veteran Jeff Monson in the main event of M-1 Global’s “Battle of Legends” in Moscow, Russia. The event will mark Emelianenko’s first bout in Russia since the BodogFights encounter with the now-retired Matt Lindland.

The “black stripe” of Fedor Emelianenko‘s career started back in June of 2009 with what was then a shocking defeat to Fabricio Werdum in just 60 seconds. The negative streak continued with a painful-to-watch TKO loss to the “Bigfoot”Antonio Silva, and the latest disappointment just a few months ago against Dan “Hendo” Henderson.

Against Jeff Monson, Fedor and his team hope for a different outcome.

Fedor Talks Fight With Henderson, His Slimmer Physique and Retiring When God Tells Him To

(Video courtesy of AOL/MMAFighting)

MMAFighting.com’s Ariel Helwani caught up with former PRIDE heavyweight champion Fedor Emelianenko to get his thoughts on a number of topics, not least of which being his upcoming Strikeforce bout with Dan Henderson on Saturday night.

According to “The Last Emperor,” although there was much talk about him walking away from MMA after back-to-back losses, he will only retire when it’s God’s will and not a minute before. Hopefully God doesn’t speak to him mid-match Saturday night like he did Paulo Filho during his last bout with Chael Sonnen.

When asked by Helwani to name any weaknesses he thought Henderson has, Fedor said he doesn’t think he has any and although he says that he has slimmed down a bit since his last fight with Antonio Silva, his weight is basically the same.

Check out another vid of Fedor working out in Chicago yesterday, after the jump.
