Here’s That TUF 22 Skirmish We’ve All Been Dying to See, Apparently [Video]

(Wanderlei Silva approves this threat.)

Conor McGregor thinks TJ Dillashaw is a snake in the grass, a child, and perhaps most importantly, a twerp. He’s been saying this for weeks now, and recent events seem to more or less confirm that he predicts deez tings. Why he’s been so persistent in pointing out Dillashaw’s disloyalty is a bit of a mystery, but personally, I think it’s because McGregor actually happens to like — and dare I say it, respect – Urijah Faber.

On last night’s (was it last night? Who gives a f*ck) episode of The Ultimate Fighter, McGregor’s constant needling of Team Alpha Male finally came to a head, by which I mean that it led to a rousing spat of pushy-shovsies filled with profanities, incredibly sexual threats, and laughter. The whole thing was just primo reality TV, really.

VIDEO: Ryan Hall Turns Frantz Slioa Into a Pretzel on ‘TUF 22: Episode 2′

Being a Jiu Jitsu black belt with a penchant for heel hooks, it would be easy to compare TUF 22 competitor Ryan Hall to Rousimar Palhares, and we’re sure that many an MMA website out there already has. Thankfully, that’s where the comparisons begin and end, as last night’s fight between Hall (of team Faber) and Team McGregor’s Frantz Slioa proved outright that not all leglock masters are homicidal lunatics incapable of empathy.

VIDEOS: Check Out the First Promos for ‘TUF 20-Something: Team Faber vs. Team McGregor’

Whether we like it or not, it looks like the UFC is moving ahead with this whole “Conor McGregor on The Ultimate Fighter” thing. Sure, you could argue that it’s a terrible idea for a promotion to put their biggest star (well, second biggest) on ice for 6 months, on a show notorious for coaching injuries, against a guy he’s not going even going to fight…but hey, the UFC doesn’t need you telling them what you want, dum-dums!

So sit back, relax, and bask in these glorious 15-second promos for TUF 20-Something: The Chin vs. The Mouth. If these previews are to be believed, the theme of this season is SCREAMING, which, even knowing how easily Urijah Faber could take my insides and put them on my outside, I just cannot take seriously. I mean, just look at how adorable “The California Kid” looks while trying to be intimidating. He’s like a little Teddy Ruxpin bear trying to psyche me up for a game of dodgeball.

McGregor’s promo is after the jump.
