(The staph infection threat-level has been raised to orange.)
Brazilian entertainment outlet EGO just published a massive shoot with UFC ring girls Arianny Celeste and Chandella Powell for their “Paparazzo” section — which is especially hot if you’re into hand-wraps and heavy bags. Check out some highlights in the gallery after the jump, and go here to see the rest.
In news that will probably make you clench your fists in triumph, Playboy has confirmed that beloved UFC ring girl Brittney Palmer will appear in their March issue. A photo of Palmer was included on the “Next Month” page of the nudie mag’s current January/February issue, with the following teaser copy:
“The Canvas suits her. The UFC Octagon has always attracted delicate beauties, but no ring girl paints a prettier picture than pop artist Brittney Palmer. It’s a pictorial worth fighting for.”
The unfamiliar face you may have seen doing laps around the Octagon on Saturday night was Vanessa Hanson, a 20-year-old model from Orange, California, who earned a guest ring girl spot at UFC 136 by winning Transworld Surf‘s 2011 US Open/UFC Model Search. Check out more Vanessa Hanson photos in the gallery below, and watch the photo-shoot video at the end to see her in action.
Well look, it’s hard to beat Demi at her own game, but we give Chandella Powell credit for trying. More photos of the UFC ring girl getting that money in a hotel room after the jump.
When it comes to reports of guest UFC ring girls, we’ve become the boys whocry wolf. But you can trust us this time, because the UFC announced it themselves. Chrissy Hubbard (aka Chrissy Blair) has earned a shot as a guest Octagon Girl at UFC 133, after winning the annual Miss TransWorld Motocross modeling search.
The 22-year-old hails from Orlando, Florida, and recently graduated college with a degree in graphic design. She describes herself as a “laid back, friendly and goofy person.” Oh man, we have so much in common! (Except for the laid back and friendly part, and the part about graduating college.)
Get to know Chrissy Blair/Chrissy Hubbard better on her official website, tumblr page, and Facebook page, and check out some more great photos of the professional hot chick in the gallery after the jump…
And here we have UFC ring girl Arianny Celeste on a beach in Saint-Tropez, giving a peck to the kind of surrealist phallic symbol that passes for public art in France. AVERT YOUR EYES, CHILDREN! There’s so much wrong with this picture — which is why it’s so perfect for a caption contest on a slow news day. Do your worst in the comments section; we’ll pick out some winners later this week and award some CagePotato t-shirts. Good luck…
(You know, there probably is a dude out there whose ‘ultimate fantasy’ involves Arianny Celeste and a few thousand limes, and when he sees this video he’s going to absolutely lose his shit. Props: officialbudlight)

We’ve been burned by these “guest Octagon Girl” reports in the past, but this one seems to be coming from a higher authority:
UFC 131 in Vancouver will have a guest Octagon Girl by the name of Leah Dizon according to Arianny Celeste on Facebook yesterday. Leah, a singer and model was born and raised in Las Vegas but now resides in Tokyo, Japan. [via babesofmma]
(“No matter what happens, I hope we can still pretend to be friends.”)
Let’s not drag this thing out any longer than we already have. After four rounds of voting, over 50,000 votes cast, and one fairly-awkward video featuring the two finalists, you’ve made it very clear who your hearts belong to.
And so, the winner of 2011′s Hottest Women in MMA Grand Prix, taking a full 77.4% of the popular vote in the finals, is…
This is it, folks — the final round in the greatest MMA tournament since PRIDE’s 2000 Open-Weight Grand Prix. After nearly a month of voting, you’ve whittled our 16-woman field down to two finalists. UFC Octagon Girls Arianny Celeste and Brittney Palmer are the lone survivors, and will be competing for your votes starting right now.
Check out more photos of the two ferocious competitors after the jump, and cast your final vote in the poll at the end of this post. (As usual, if you don’t see it, refresh the page or try a different browser.) We’ll announce the results on Friday. Man, this is really happening. Finish strong, people…
Props to MMA Mania for giving us the heads-up about Carol Dias, a Brazilian MMA ring girl who is currently campaigning to be a part of the UFC Rio show in August. According to this interview with Terra Magazine, Dias is a 24-year-old model and journalism student, and wants to hold round-cards for the UFC when they visit her home country so that she can meet her favorite fighters, including Anderson Silva, Mauricio Rua, and (of course) Georges St. Pierre. On the topic of beauty’s advantages in the corporate world, Dias says: “A beleza ajuda sim. Mas com certeza o que faz você crescer é aquilo que você pode oferecer intelectualmente. Afinal a beleza acaba, não? O que você aprende, você não esquece. Beleza ajuda mas não é o mais importante como muitas pessoas acreditam.”
How true. Check out more lovely pics of Carol after the jump, and follow her life on Twitter.
Former UFC Octagon Girl Natasha Wicks had herself a little spill last week while longboarding in California. As she explained via Twitter: “Wiped out on my Sector Nine… f-ing hurt 7 flips downhill.. booth cheeks gashed, shoulder gash, hand destroyed … I can honestly say this is one of the worst pains I’ve experienced…crying helps sometimes.. and in this case it def does.. ill b fine ”
As they say, she who does not fall does not stand up. And she who posts photos of her scraped-up ass on twitter runs the risk of having them re-posted by weirdos like us. But hey, if you’re not into open sores, there’s some recent swimsuit photos of a perfectly intact Natasha after the jump. (Props: MMA Roundup)
In case your Brock Lesnar and Georges St. Pierre Fatheads need company, Arianny Celeste is now selling a "Super Lifesized Wallsticker" on her store page. For just $49.99, a 5’7" two-dimensional representation of the UFC Octagon Girl can be yours to slap onto any flat surface. Check out that first thumbnail image, in which the Arianny wallsticker is displayed in what appears to be an Ikea model-bedroom — so unlike any bedroom that this sticker would actually be displayed in. Where are the bags of Cheetos? The TapouT-brand bed-sheets? The bottle of hand lotion on the end-table? A little truth in advertising would be nice, that’s all I’m saying…
Good news, perverts: Playboy legend Holly Madison will be taking another lap around the Octagon on New Year’s Day. UFC.com has revealed that the Girls Next Door/Holly’s World star will be returning as a guest Octagon Girl at UFC 125, for the first time since her head-turning appearance at UFC 100. UFC 125 will also see the official UFC debut of beloved WEC card-holder Brittney Palmer. (Damn, and just when I made a New Year’s resolution to not creepily stare at women so much. Ah well, there’s always 2012.) To see more of Miss Madison, check out our photo galleries at the links below…
In our continuing efforts to keep you up-to-date on how former UFC ring girls are making a living, here’s a brand-new video of Edith Labelle posing in a pool and discussing her latest gig as a BSN Girl. Damn you, food poisoning, for taking her away from us!
After the jump: A "new" BSN feature on Natasha Wicks, which uses mostly old footage but is still worth a peek…
Props to our friends at MMAFightGirls for discovering Logan Stanton‘s latest modeling gig — the unjustly fired former UFC Octagon Girl is now the face (and body) of Roxy swimwear. Some choice bikini pics from their website are above; you can see a lot more here.
(You like it? I’m having this airbrushed onto the hood of my Impala.)
As you’re all aware by now, Cain Velasquez became The First Mexican Heavyweight Champion in Fighting History™ on Saturday when he destroyed Brock Lesnar at UFC 121. The crowning of Velasquez should hopefully usher in a new wave of interest in the UFC from the Latino community — but the promotion still has a long way to go until it appeals to all demographics. If the UFC wants to achieve true mass appeal, they should work as hard as possible to check these categories off their list as well…
An African-American Lightweight Champion Over the years, the UFC has awarded title belts to Maurice Smith and Kevin Randleman in the heavyweight division, and Quinton Jackson and Rashad Evans at 205. And even though former welterweight champ Carlos Newton and middleweight king Anderson Silva aren’t American, they would certainly be described by my mother as "people of soul." But the history of the UFC’s lightweight division has been that of white dudes (see: Pulver, Sherk, Edgar) and a fiery Hawaiian warrior (come on, son.) What the division needs is an athletic and explosive champion at 155, who can serve as a role model for kids who are too short to make the basketball team. Do I have to spell it out for you? Okay, fine: A-N-T-O-N-I-O M-c-K-E-E, P-L-A-Y-E-R.
When the UFC brought out Brittny Ward as a guest Octagon Girl at last weekend’s UFC 119 event in Indianapolis, the fan reception was uniformly positive. Most of you seem to feel that the leggy 20-year-old model should be hired as a permanent member of the UFC’s ring girl stable, even if one of the current OG’s has to be let go, particularly the one who isn’t Arianny Celeste. We have our fingers crossed that Dana White & Co. will do the right thing and hire Brittny. In the meantime, here’s all the best photos we found of her while scouring her Facebook and ModelMayhem pages, as well as our own exclusiveshots from the event. You can follow Brittny at twitter.com/brittwardxoxo. The photo goodness continues after the jump…
As you probably already know, your favorite UFC ring girl Arianny Celeste has struck a blow for freedom by scoring the cover of the May 2010 issue of Maxim, on newsstands now. Check out her magazine shoot above; for more amazing photos of Arianny that didn’t make it into the issue for some reason, click here.
(No matter how many times she was warned about the dangers of traipsing around the kitchen in those heels, Chandella never believed a slip-and-fall accident could happen to her.)
It’s Friday afternoon, there’s no major MMA event going on over the weekend, so we thought we’d entertain ourselves by checking out new UFC ring girl Chandella Powell‘s hastily thrown together personal website. After all, she seems to be a semi-permanent addition (at least until the UFC decides they want another fresh face) and yet what do we know about her? I mean, aside from the fact that she probably won’t be willing to do any Raw Vegas interviews with me, what do we really know about her?
So I took to her website and found out…nothing, really. Her ‘About Me’ section reads: "I am the UFC’s newest Octagon Girl. I will update this about me soon!" There are no links in the links section, and her profile on this modeling website says her birthday is January 1st, 1982, which just seems made up. Seriously, who’s born on New Year’s Day? Well, J. Edgar Hoover and J.D. Salinger, but they were both world class assholes.
Anyway, one thing Chandella does have on her website is photos of her in various states of undress. They are presented for your enjoyment after the jump.
The January issue of Maxim is on newsstands now, featuring a pictorial and interview with UFC All Access host Rachelle Leah, who has somehow managed to survive every professional hot chick purge since she was hired. (Does posing nude grant you a protected status in the UFC? Please, Arianny, for the sake of your job.) Three black-and-white shots of the barely clothed Ring Girl Hall of Famer are after the jump, courtesy of Maxim.com’s online excerpt. To see larger images, shell out a few bucks and buy the issue.
Stanton said she received a call from a UFC executive on Tuesday, informing her that her contract would not be picked up for another year.
"I was like, ‘Wait, what? Are you breaking up with me?,’" Stanton said jokingly. "It totally took me by surprise. Natasha actually texted me a little bit before I got the phone call. She was like, ‘The UFC just dropped me,’ and I was like, ‘What? Why?’ I was confused about that. So when he told me he had bad news, I was like, ‘Oh, I already know.’ And then he pulled that one on me. And I was like, ‘Wow.’ I was kind of in shock at the time. I even said, ‘Ok, thank you. Bye.’ I was lame. I just said thanks. I really didn’t know what to say to him. I was kind of upset for a minute. I teared up. And after that, I just became a little angry."
As we all attempt to work through the shock of losing Logan Stanton and Natasha Wicks as UFC ring girls, there’s bound to be some hand-wringing and maybe even a little finger-pointing. We understand that, but as part of the healing process, let’s look to the future. Thanks to help from Cage Potato reader Rooster, we found some photos of the rumored replacement for Logan and Natasha, former Playboy model Chandella Powell.
We realize it might too soon for some of you who are really hurting right now. We all get over these things at our own pace. All we’re saying is, when time heals that wound and you feel like you’re ready to ogle once again, the pictures will be here for you. More await you after the jump, though be warned that they’re somewhat NSFW-ish. Which basically means really hot.
MMAMADNESS.com has learned that both Natasha Wicks and Logan Stanton have been cut from the UFC as ring girls. Stanton’s contract expired after UFC 107 and the UFC chose not to renew it. Wicks was cut before the expiration of her contract. Ring girl Arianny Celeste will remain on with the organization; as her contract has been recently renegotiated- explaining her absence from UFC 107.
According to sources, there will be only two ring girls from this point forward. Though it has not been officially announced, our insiders are being told Chandella Powell, a former playmate, will be the newest ring girl. [Ed. note: We can't find many good pics of Ms. Powell, but apparently she's second from the left in this photo.] It has yet to be released when Ms. Powell will start her official ring girl duties, though UFC 108 would be the obvious choice.
Well this blows. With no other information to work off of at this time, we’ll just assume that Arianny became jealous that her alpha-chick status was being threatened by the two newcomers, and went into them-or-me mode during contract negotiations. I know it’s not very responsible to make up rumors out of whole cloth, but goddammnit, Logan and Natasha are gone — gone, you guys — and the last thing I’m feeling right now is responsible. More to come; for now, let’s remember the good times…
MMA Fanhouse has confirmed that Edith Labelle — you know, the large-chested Octagon Girl who’s not Arianny or Logan — won’t be holding round cards and blowing kisses to the camera during UFC broadcasts anymore. Her manager was quoted as saying "Something happened, but at this time, I can only confirm that Edith no longer works for the UFC." Considering the rumors that swirled aroundAmber Nichole Miller‘s departure, that "something" could be nothing, or that something could be something; feel free to speculate wildly in the comments section below. Edith will be officially replaced by Maxim Octagon Girl Search winner Natasha Wicks at UFC 101 tomorrow night in Philadelphia.
Edith Labelle (born June 30, 1982), aka Edith Larente, made her debut as a UFC Octagon Girl in November 2007, but was released by the company after falling ill at UFC 100 in July 2009. Hailing from Mont-Laurier, Quebec, Edith Labelle worked as a semi-nude model before joining the UFC, and was best known as "Anabelle" from FlashyBabes.com. Outside of her appearance in a low-budget sci-fi movie in 2009, we have no idea what Edith’s been up to since leaving the UFC.
I’m going to b the first ever celebrity guest ring girl at UFC 100! So excited!
Had my ufc ring girl fitting today! Outfit looks bad ass!
Keep in mind that the UFC is still going to pluck one lucky lady out of obscurity during their Octagon Girl Search this Saturday, but we dig the "celebrity guest ring girl" angle. Could Mandy Moore be next? More pics of Ms. Madison are after the jump. Check out more of her work at HollyMadison.com, and be her eBuddy at MySpace.com/hollyewok.
