For UFC 126, Zuffa gave you increased control of their broadcast via UFC.tv. That was cool and all, but not really jaw dropping. Well, they’ve upped the ante once more, and this time it’s pretty fucking awesome. UFC on Versus 3, taking place on March 3rd and headlined by a welterweight tilt between Diego Sanchez and Martin Kampmann, will feature the first ever MMA bouts to be broadcast in glorious 3D.
Though 3D tv is relatively new, many professional sports leagues have already embraced the technology, if only sparingly. The NFL, NBA, MLB, and FIFA (that’s soccer, you guys) have all broadcast games in the futuristic format. ESPN has a whole channel devoted 3D programming, aptly named ESPN 3D.
