The Reem is back with another episode of our favorite web documentary series and it was worth the wait.
This edition of the show features behind the scenes footage of the opening round of the Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix as well as a glimpse of Overeem’s PR tour in New York the week of the event.
An interesting prediction by “The Demolition Man” (which we now know was spot on) was made at the end of the episode when he said Fedor Emelianenko wouldn’t go out like that with the beating he took at the hands of Antonio Silva. With Golden Glory currently situated in Pataya, Thailand training at one of the team’s satellite gyms there, expect some interesting stories next show.

“You could tell when they asked The Reem why he thought it wasn’t Fedor’s last fight he wanted to say because those leeches at M-1 won’t let him but he doesn’t want to talk shit. I still think Fedor want’s to retire but those dirtbags at M-1 took all his money so he has no choice.”
Interesting point, but I’m pretty sure it’s because he was dead set on trying to secure a fight with Fedor for a couple years, and he doesn’t want to accept that he will never get the chance.
