‘The Ultimate Fighter 13′ Video: Brock Lesnar Is Back on the Saddle

(Update: Damn autoplay. Check out the video after the jump.)

“I just suffered a huge loss. That’s fighting. That’s the name of the game. That’s the world. As the world turns, people win, people lose, you get your ass back on the saddle and ride into town again…[Dos Santos] is in my way, and that’s the only thing I give a shit about. He’s in my way to get my title back. I was, and I will be again, the UFC heavyweight champion of the world. [Sarah Palin-esque wink/click]”

So says TUF 13 coach Brock Lesnar in his first video promo for The Ultimate Fighter: Team Lesnar vs. Team Dos Santos, which premieres Wednesday, March 30th, at 9 p.m./8c. We’re curious to see how the moody, insular former heavyweight champ handles a room full of screaming welterweights. Along with his solid team of assistant coaches, will Brock be able to inspire the up-and-coming fighters to be successful? Or are we looking at another heel-coach in the vein of Koscheck and Rampage?

junie browning has been taking steroids, and this photo is the finished product.
Shadowen- March 20, 2011 at 12:51 am how much is Brock gonna be rolling with the WWs?

Because if they learn nothing else, learning to escape and/or wrestle and/or GnP with someone whose fighting weight is ninety pounds heavier than theirs is gonna do wonders for their ground game.

He looks focused on BEING hungry. We'll see what happens, looking forward to the fight.
PERPATRAITOR- March 18, 2011 at 11:26 pm
Yes i agree. He is way more focused and hungry.
KarmaAteMyCat- March 18, 2011 at 1:42 am
I think your mistaking timid for focused and hungry.
ClubberLame- March 17, 2011 at 6:08 pm
Brock doesn't have it anymore. I'm a fan of his fights but he looks way smaller and way more timid. I think his illness, his new diet, and his recent lose have really affected him. It shows in this clip, his build, and I think it will show for the rest of his fighting career. Compare the video between the Brock that fought Heath Herring and the Brock that fought Cain Velazquez. I can't believe more people haven't noticed this, he looks flat and drained. His back looked bony in comparison to his old self in the back shot in the clip. This is a fighter whose true strong points (along with his wrestling) are (were?) his size, strength, and aggressiveness.

I cant believe the UFC still hypes lesnar like the baddest man on the planet, after dancing around like a hairless sasquatch on crack every time anyone hits him I thought maybe he would have took the kimbo slice route and admitted to himself that being a big attraction and paycheque for Dana 'the hype machine ban anyone he doesn't like (including CP) ruin mma toolbag' white does NOT make you a mixed martial artist!! and breathe ....
LetMeStickItInYourRua- March 17, 2011 at 2:54 pm
Seriously shut the fuck up about Brock. He could find the cure for cancer and you'd all still shit on him. So what are you gonna say when he beats Dos Santos then Velesquez? That he's on roids? That's played out.
shawn2323- March 17, 2011 at 1:58 pm
Brocks gonna win this one I would bet the farm on that. As for size dos santos is 1" taller brock has a 4" reach advantage. And if you think dos santos is bigger your blind.

Giving Lesnar a hard time about his match with Carwin or Velasqueeze after he'd come back from a year off, with so few fights to begin with, and after an intestinal condition thatwas potentially mortal- is like some progressive little twat in the news media giving President Bush a hard time about the economy during his first [or second] term [for that] matter, after 9/11; some things are difficult to recover from no matter what your caliber/ experince/ timber, especially when it's potentially devastating, unexpected, and difficult to diagnose- Everyone bitching about him being 'a true, well-rounded MMA' is really pretty weak when you get down to it. Ask Chad Mendes if a wrestling-centric approach wins fights, ask Fitch (look at his freaking record!), ask Sonnen [since he fully TuNed on A.Silva, 'injured rib' and all), ask Edgar (or Maynard for that matter)-- when Hughes was in a state of Total Domination, did it work for him? When St. Pierre beat Hardy, he used what? (and speaking of vSqeeze, he used what base to beat guys like Rothwell and Kongo?) Ask Jon Madsen too BTW--- Gotta have Plenty 'o' Tools for sure, but all the little TaterTot blogger fools out there yammering onabout Lesnar and the WWE, and his relatively smallnumber of pro fights- shut it. vSqueeze has how many more anyway? His opponenets were necessarily better than The Sno-Lord's? Not. And Two Sandals? He beat who? Filipovic? Burger-king man? Time will tell. Until then, close your upper pussy.

it doesn't matter how big you are if someone throws a 2 punch combo at you and you turtle up like the sky is falling. the way brock turtles up is can see a patented dos santos uppercut taking his head off.

Brock does look bigger, but realistically they probably aren't much more than 25lbs apart. Brock said after his diverticulosis that he was about at the 265lb limit, and wasn't really cutting to make it anymore. JDS is about 240 or 245.
Of course, I'm sure that won't stop everyone from continuing the "Brock cuts down from 300" crap. That stuff never dies. They were talking about how huge Matt Hughes was for the division even leading up to the Thiago Alves fight, when he was dwarfed by GSP in his previous fight to that. Just like talking about Fitch's size difference in his last fight when he was walking around at 175. It becomes a talking point and never dies.

I can't wait to see his candy ass get beat....AGAIN....if you smellllllllllllllllll.....
What DRANO is cooking!

I wonder what MRuss has to say about this......
RearNakedSpoon- March 17, 2011 at 8:20 am
Yes Brock looks bulkier then Dos Santos but Dos Santos won't have to compensate for much of a height difference so his boxing will be more natural.
Can Brock set a new barrel roll record this fight?
Me likey- March 17, 2011 at 8:18 am
brock is gonna have to bring in some different coaches than just his camp. death clutch is all heavy weights. i know his trainers may not be heavy weights but they are used to training them.
eviltwin- March 17, 2011 at 8:10 am
As much as I don't really wana get sucked into another TUF I don't think I will be able to avoid it. I really wana see Brock act like a lunatic.

"Top 7 Brock Lesnar fights" article coming soon?
Sloppyspray- March 17, 2011 at 7:51 am
What video are you guys watching?

Maybe he looks as tall as brock, but def. not as big (or bigger for that matter)

Brock's arms, shoulders and chest look twice as big as Dos Santos'. He looks like hes got at least 30 lbs on him easy. (Also Lesnar's neck is thicker than Dos Santos head haha)

But Dos Santos will still prob. smoke him with his hands. Lesnar's gonna have to do a patented bull rush or else he's gonna get lit up.
LOKI- March 17, 2011 at 7:34 am
And in the rash-guard to hold down his bitch-tits, Chris Tusherrearerer as belly-flop coach.
I agree whole-heartedly that Brock will be champ again...of WWF(E).
punchguyinface- March 17, 2011 at 6:56 am
can't wait to hear many weeks of Brock's tired cliches.
the glza- March 17, 2011 at 6:44 am
damned autoplay...

anyway: i believe him when he says he'll be champion again. as unlikeable a character as he is, he will win again...
RearNakedSpoon- March 17, 2011 at 6:43 am
It's just you, he looks bigger than Brock in that video!
BC_Bud- March 17, 2011 at 6:38 am
...Is it just me or does Dos Santos look the same size as Lesnar in that video??
