These Jorge Rivera Insult Videos Are Getting Stranger and Stranger

First, Jorge Rivera mocked Michael Bisping‘s pillow-fists. Then, he brought in a dude with a terrible British accent so he could slam the Count as a “professional decision-winner” who lies about where he’s from and gives koala bears chlamydia. And now there’s this. Fans of Monty Python and the Holy Grail are going to love it (or at the very least, begrudgingly respect it). Everyone else will wonder, “on what kind of hallucinogens were the Ranger Up guys on when they came up with this concept, and was it really just an excuse to show off Rivera’s bounce-pass?” At this point, Bisping will have to respond with a video of his own. All he needs is somebody who can do an exaggerated New England accent, and he’ll be set…

Well Jorge is doing everything he can to get an edge here against Bisping. Like him or not Bisping has turned himself into one of the world's top 10 MW's with a 20-3 record with his only losses to world ranked guys like W. Silva, D. Henderson, and R. Evans, this is Bispings fight to lose. I would'nt even rank Rivera has top 15 at this point and we can't fault him for making the best of the biggest fight of his life.

Man I love his videos and think the fake bisping is funny as hell...
but rivera adds nothing to the videos... cut him out and these vids would be gold!

i'm a huge bisping fan and i still loves these videos...

gotta say though... come fight time rivera will probably wish he spent more time training and less time recording

I think the last one was better, but I love holy grail so I'll let that slide. Even with one of the worst english accents since that guy on TUF with the "throw another shrimp on the barbie" comment.

Still hasn't topped Fiona from Burn Notice's "Irish" accent in the 1st episode though. Major vocal coach fail right there.

Other than the obvious minor fuck ups with comments and a few other things people have already pointed out ad nauseum the site has been running much better since the upgrade.

And yes ... Chrome is the only way to go.

2nd video was the best still but this one did manage to tease a lol out of me at the end.
I do have to wonder how much time they spend on these silly (in a good way) videos, if they work then they are justified.

It's IE7, and since i'm on a work comp, that's what i'm stuck with. (i think--we just got a new IT person, actually, so maybe...)

I'll send you a screen grab if you're actually interested, but it's no biggie. I thought it was something on the site, sounds like it's something with my comp specifically.

For whatever reason, the Break ad banner at the very top isn't centered or bound inside a box. I see the NFL video open (video plays if i hover over it) on the left margin, with no background. Then the ad banner is next, nicely centered and contained inside the box, which is the white banner with no content on your screen. Then i see the top half of the CP banner, no links, and then the posts.

Anyone else seeing anything like this?

Ah, in that case I presume AdBlockPlus is saving me from seeing any of that shite on Firefox. I just get a big gap and then the normal CP banner...

...hmm just loaded up in IE and I now get the Break Media banner at the top (I see the NFL video you refer to, but only when I hover over 'Video of the Day'), and then in what is just a blank gap on Firefox, I have a white banner which is not loading any content, and then the CP banner.

In both browsers, the four links (videos/ring girls/forum/fighters) are still perfectly viewable and clickable. Odd.

I still see an NFL Video of the day at the very top of the page, above the banner ad and the CP banner. It seems to be pushing everything down, and the CP Banner actually covers the links to the FightWiki, Forums, and CageChicks. I'm in IE at work, and it sounds like not everyone is having the same issue.

ReX - I remember you mentioning headers elsewhere, but I have never been paying enough attention. Do you just mean the big gap above the CP logo? I can't imagine you do as that seems pretty simple to fix, but just in case you do, the problem is

being applied to

in the stylesheet
