— Dennis Hallman and Alexander Crispim tested positive for steroids after the last Strikeforce show. Both were fined $2,500 and suspended one year.

— Norifumi “Kid” Yamamoto will fight Rani Yahya at the K-1 Premium 2007 Dynamite!! card in Osaka on New Year’s Eve. Though Yahya is still under contract with WEC, he’s fighting with their blessing; hopefully this is a diplomatic step towards a Kid Yamamoto/Urijah Faber bout being hooked up in the future.
