Turning into a shadow is far less surprising when someone who trains with Steven Seagal does it. Props:

With all of the hype that UFC 134 has been riding, one had to assume that tickets would sell pretty quickly. According to, tickets to the event sold out in only 74 minutes yesterday afternoon.  The arena where UFC 134 will take place, the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, can accommodate nearly 17,000 fans. I understand you can't have every Brazillian in the UFC on one card, but they could ahve done better. The fact that Wandy and Belfort are fighting in the US wihtin a month of this show is kind of dumb. Although you gotta blame Wandy for that one. He was offered to fight Belfort on this card and he turned it down saying he needed more time to train for such an important fight. Important? Fighting an inconsistent headcase who was just destroyed in 1 round by the champion? Weak Wandy.

Looks decent, but not spectacular. Silva vs. Okami has the potential of being a big let down, like all of Silva's recent fights, thanks mostly to the difference in skill level between Silva and pretty much everyone he's faced. Forrest vs Shogun's capable of being an equal letdown, with questionable conditioning by both or one of the fighters being the factor. Nogueira will probably get dominated by Schaub for three rounds in a highly one-sided fight. So yeah, in all probability this is going to be a disappointment.

Only three fights on the pri lims? For sure they should be adding another 2 or 3 fights!

Am I the only one who doesn't give a f#*K??? I mean really?? In this world of MMA who really gets hype for cards this far in advance? I'm really right now thinking FW and can't wait to see Marlon Sandro make his stateside debut. As far as UFC I'm really hoping "Outlaw" vs. "Lights Out", Jim Miller vs. "Smooth", and Joseph Benavidev vs. Eddie Wineland still go down for free on SpikeTV on Aug. 14th.

agree with McDickButts, and that's the first time I've ever thought that series of words.

Considering the big deal they made about going back to Brazil and all the hype... the card is mediocre at best. Looks like the UFC kinda dropped the ball on the matchmaking for this one. There are some guys (Brazilians) that definitely should have made their way on this card.

Dana must be planning to add to this still... rather small card so far. By watermelon woman you mean the lovely assed woman that interviewed Shogun a lil' while back? If so I agree. I would love to see that ass falling out of the skipy UFC shorts. Excellent idea sir.
