Tim Sylvia Had a Rough Childhood

Affliction just posted this “Countdown” video to their skull-heavy YouTube page, introducing the main event fighters in their July 19th debut card. Special attention is given to Tim Sylvia‘s troubled upbringing, and his alcoholic, abusive mother. Not sure if they’re trying to turn the Maine-iac into a sympathetic figure or something, but it’s probably too little too late. (If both his parents were abusive alcoholics, then maybe…) You should also check out the “stadium preview” below if you’re curious about where Megadeth will be set up in relation to the ring.

"Fedor looked like a lard-ass." He looks just like he has when he dismantled the UFC current HW champ twice. The affliction card is hands down more interesting than the free UFC event that night. This competition between organizations is great for the fans, so why are some fans acting like such UFC ass kissers? The only people who are against the threat of real competition for the UFC are those making money there. Competitive free markets are whats going to get the fans the best fights at the lowest prices. An MMA world dominated by one power like the UFC will be boring and controlled. Go Fedor !

Looks to me like the syvia training sessions were more of a photoshoot. Considering there were a couple of angles of him seemingly injuring a training partner with a leg kick lol - while the fedor footage is old compiled filmstock from years ago.
