Total F*cking Nastiness: Genghis Con's "The Fast Lane Episode 003"
(Props: Bloody Elbow)
Drop whatever you're doing and watch the latest brilliant MMA documentary from our pal Genghis Con, which follows the careers of Frank Shamrock and Kenny Florian. Two very dissimilar subjects, you'd think, but Con manages to make it work frighteningly well. As with his past videos, Con's choice of supporting footage (like Shamrock's body-control demonstrations around the 12-minute mark) and soundtrack (Led Zeppelin's "No Quarter," bro, and whatever that behemoth groove in the intro is) elevate TFL3 into something much greater than "highlight reel." Incredible stuff.

These things always take forever to download. I wish I could actually watch in less than an hour.
Anonymous Says:
the only problem with this video is it makes frank shamrock seem almost likable. other than that terrific. its like something you could put on tv and a million people would watch it, and right there you would have a million more mma fans.
Kissenger Says:
+ 1
CB Says:
They're both douchebags, but I think that's a symptom of a great fighter. The vid was schweeet Genghis. I really appreciate the work you put into it. Keep it up meng.
Anonymous Says:
Good documentary. The only problem i had with it was that they gave frank too much credit for the cung le fight.. he was getting his ass whooped
Peter B Says:
Can we get this video off of the hampster in a running wheel internet? I have never had so much trouble watching a video. Can't this guy put it on you tube or something?

Rage Pistachio Says:
Awesome work Con, I'll drop whatever I'm doing and watch you're videos anytime. Once I started playing it everyone at my office was crammed around watching.
Sic work dude, keep em coming!
SpaceAlias Says:
The GK vids are great to watch and the music selections is the icing on the cake. My question is about the vid quality... I am watching it on a cable internet connection and even if I let it download completely the video is freeze frame like. The music streams fine but the vid is choppy. Is it my computer or is there a solution you guys can offer so I watch these things with the quality that GK intended?
Kentucky Boy Says:
i still dont see the connection between the two???? but good video anyways

Kenny Florian in that Samurai outfit is ridiculous. He couldn't look more out of place if he tried. It also appears after watching the highlight in the Sherk fight that Kenny has a habit of grabbing the fence to avoid a takedown he did the same thing to Stevenson.Between that and the illegal elbows he throws on a regular basis it's clear that he's quite the cheating fuck. Frank Shamrock couldn't have been more honest saying Renzo quit because that was a bullshit acting job by Renzo to get an easy DQ win.
tyler Says:
When Kenny was screaming like a moron that he finishes fights Joe Rogan should have said to him yeah you finish them all but the Sherk fight right.Frank Shamrock embarrassing Cesar Gracie was classic.Cesar's corner even threw in the towel to save his pathetic ass!
Phil Baroni Says:
Genghis is da best eva!
Neogetter02 Says:
tyler LOL When Kenny was screaming like a moron that he finishes fights Joe Rogan should have said to him yeah you finish them all but the Sherk fight right
soo ture now i wonder if hes ganna be able to finish bj lol
Derly Says:
The reason Frank looked so good in this highlight reel against Cung was because GK is a great editor. That's great work on his part to make it more interesting like that.
Also Florian should be warned before matches about the cage grabs. Like if he does it so often he should get no warning during the fight. He should automatically be deducted points when it happens from now on. Or for like the next few fights.
Imagine getting penalties that lasted for future fights to prevent cheating like that.
walrus Says:
Wow, I think Mr. Con topped himself on that one.
And Jesus, F. Shamrock has some tumblin' skills. I believe him when he said he took gymnastic training.
babcock Says:
Does this guy get paid for this shit or what??? cuz he should.
Anyways i stumbled upon this which i thought was wicked fuckin awesome to show con props and maybe hype up the upcoming Coleman v. Rua fight and remind those who dont know what a super bad ass Shogun is/was. peep game ya'll

Somebody get this guy a job in UFC's production department.
Geddy Lee Says:
Who dare sample my Tom Sawyer!
Jugger Says:
Shamrock is the one who "quit" in the Renzo Gracie fight. He was so far behind on the score cards after getting run through a take-down-&-jiu-jitsu clinic that he resorted to throwing illegal blows. Could Renzo have continuted? Maybe, but we'll never know because Shamrock was so desperate to get out from under Renzo he threw, not one, but two illegal knees to the back of the head/neck.
I like how Shamrock can be losing a fight handily, appear totally frustrated in the cage, get himself DQ'd on illegal blows, and have the nerve to say his opponent "quit".
Rod Says:
Con, I cant imagine what you could do with a good salary, budget, and the editing equipment of the UFC... someone needs to hire your ass based just on creativity and artistic flare.
Mescan_Judo Says:
Really cool video. Amazing how little music makes some fights so epic.
Derekrva Says:
Seriously...UFC hire this guy!
Imagine if all pay-per-view events started with a Con film highlighting that night's fighters instead of that cheesy, horrible, predictable montage of the gladiator suiting up. Fans would get much more amped for the fights and not feel so bad about forking out 50 bucks.
Might be a bit difficult to get some of those samples cleared though.
Keep up the good work you Mongolian bad ass.

This man speaks the truth. I've been calling for a new PPV intro for a couple years now. If the Con replaced the gladiator, the result would be epic.
babcock Says:
Geddy Lee!! is that you? the best bass player ever?!
MrFeexit Says:
Love the use of Pink Floyd!!!!
