TUF 13 Finale: Weigh-In Results

How he hangs a hammer from those things we’ll never know.

It’s fair to say that this season of The Ultimate Fighter didn’t live up to expectations. Despite the inclusion of pay-per-view juggernaut Brock Lesnar, this season posted some of the lowest ratings in the franchise’s history. And yet again, the show’s momentum was halted by the revelation that the coaches would not be facing off at the end of the season.  But tonight the UFC has a golden opportunity to make chicken salad out of chicken shit with a night of free fights on Spike TV. The UFC announced last night via Twitter that six prelim fights will be aired on Facebook at 6:30pm (Eastern). Tell us who you got in the comments, and if you’re up early enough there still may be time to enter our UFC Fight-Picking Contest.

So Shemar Bailey gets a shot to fight in the UFC but Bently doesn't. I don't often disagree with Baldy and Joe Silva often but thats a travesty. Shemar Bailey in two fights showed nothing, Bently at least shows hes a gamer and can take a punch.

Spartacus81 congrats on a great troll job, no kindly go back to bloodyvagina and stay the fuck away from REAL MMA message boards...that is all.

top 3 fight picks for tonight:
I hope stripper ramsey beats the FUCK out of Tony-asshole

Poor Guida he has drawn nothing but complete badasses in the last few years, I like Guida hes a good guy, but damn he is gonna get his head kicked off by pettis.

I choose ANYONE over Red headed step child ED fucktard Herman.

@Spartacus81, im actually quite happy with whats going on in MMA now, without zuffa's purchase of strikeforce we would NEVER have got to see GSP vs. Diaz. And you better watch what you say about Brittney who is still making hits, she is UNTOUCHABLE, she could go on an infant killing spree come back and still release a multiplatinum album

UAnd elite survived all of what? 3 shows? Dream is dead as is japanese mma. Belator is hanging by staying small.... never got the UFC monopoly arguement

Ummm spatacus, one can only assume you do not follow the behind the scenes if you didn't realize pride was folding and being investigated for yakuza involvment when the UFC basically bailed them out (by bail I mean got scammed by) and all numbers show Strikeforce was on the fence as well trying to compete. Hate the UFC all day, neither would be around anymore anyway.

The UFC bought all their competition and puts on nothing but shitty shows with one or maybe if we are really lucky two fights we want to see. So we went from getting 3 or 4 good shows a month with PRIDE, ELITE\Strikforce and the UFC to the UFC monopolizing MMA and STRANGLING the shit out of it. They are killing MMA by trying to be only organization out there.Ratings and PPV buys have already tanked and are only getting worse. Lets thank Dana and that incompetent dipshit of a matchmaker Silva for making MMA the next Freestyle Motocross, set to burn out like Brittney Spears.

@Hesh to Steel: I keep hoping his time at Jackson's will take him to that next level, but I don't ever see him getting there. He's all heart...and quite possibly meth.

It's hard not to love guida when you look at all the other fighters who lack conditioning and heart. He seems to have the perfect attitude for a fighter, it's too bad that he doesn't have the talent to ever be champ.
