I would have rather had k-sos on the maincard than junie.
  2. Derly Says:

    Fri, 12/12/08 - 05:02

But you never know, Junie might just go limp and give up without being hit, which would almost be worth watching.

looks like Gouveia's preparation for Macdonald consisted of 3 big macs and a few apple pies daily....watch out Grimace you're fucking next!!!

Vinicius Magalhaes in 2 via leglock.

Yeah and K SOS would do cool little pranks with guys boxers...

I think one of the Ben's said it best... John Polakowski has the best "bro-clinch" in the game today.

so whose this "next anderson silva" character dana white described? i dont think that question was ever really answered.
  9. Derly Says:

    Fri, 12/12/08 - 10:49

Dana said it was Nover. On the show he said something like, "...this guy reminds me of a young GSP..." Hey so I just got HD tv today, and it's my first time watching Inside MMA on television. I just noticed Jens Pulver has two different colored eyes. Now is that from contacts or does Jens really have two different colored eyes? Blue and brown...
  10. PingPong Says:

    Fri, 12/12/08 - 10:55

Dana is pushing Felipe as part of the UFC's expansion into the Philippines, it helps that Nover is a great fighter too, but I think there's more to the hype that he's laying on the guy. I always figured Pulver's eyes were different colors because one was damaged like David Bowie.

Can't wait to see Nover fight. He's gonna have a long career ahead of him in the UFC.
  12. Derly Says:

    Sat, 12/13/08 - 02:30

It tripped me the fuck out when I saw Pulver's eyes like that.
  13. Whisper Says:

    Sat, 12/13/08 - 03:13

I think Jens' eyes are naturally different colors. It's actually called heterochromia. It can also be caused by disease or injury, but in Lil' Evil's case, it's natural. It actually works well with his nickname, doesn't it, Derly?
  14. Derly Says:

    Sat, 12/13/08 - 03:17

I'd believe it's natural and he's got one of the most distinct cases of it I've seen if it is natural. Dark brown to a nice blue, and at first it looked really sickening. Yea it did give him that sinister look.

Phillipe via murder round 1 (27 seconds) I really wished Phillipe would of faced Junie in the VERY beginning. But just like the UFC....They KNOW who they want in the finals and make the matchups as such, to give the 2 the best shot at getting there.
  16. Payday Says:

    Sat, 12/13/08 - 05:30

I hope tonight is the last time we ever have to see Junie, and even the Ultimate Fighter show for that matter.

"Payday Says: Sat, 12/13/2008 - 05:30 I hope tonight is the last time we ever have to see Junie, and even the Ultimate Fighter show for that matter. " If you don't like the show, you always have the power to just not watch it. Novel concept, I know.
  18. Aaron Says:

It's really good to see Dana rewarding the biggest idiot on the show. Not only is he fighting tonight, but he's on the main card. Note to future TUF hopefuls: Get drunk, be an ass, break glass on people, start fights, talk yourself up, look less than impressive in the cage, and you will be rewarded.
  19. Woody Says:

    Sat, 12/13/08 - 08:21

@ Hesh To Steel HAHAHAHAHAHAHHA Thank You. Well Put.
  20. Payday Says:

    Sat, 12/13/08 - 08:39

@ Hesh to Steel: I don't watch it. Stopped this season after seeing Junie act like an drunken, immature idiot for the first time. I think it's a shame that Dana puts on a show that puts MMA in such a bad light. If a new fan tunes into the show and sees guys pissing fruit, do you think they will be eager to tune into anything else associated with MMA? At least give the guys something to do in the house besides drink. I think that would solve 90% of the bullshit that goes down in the house.

Wilson Gouveia is an unprofessional fuck.I hope The Athlete Jason MacDonald twists him into a fucking pretzel!
  22. CB Says:

    Sat, 12/13/08 - 10:34

@ tyler Agreed. A fucking pretzel! Um, like fresh from the oven...with salt and a little spicy brown mustard. Goddamn I'm hungry now.
  23. TheDonkey Says:

    Sat, 12/13/08 - 11:06

I'm tired of hearing about Junie. He got his ass kicked so i'm not sure why he's fighting.
  24. emil Says:

    Sat, 12/13/08 - 11:38

Exactly what does "catch weight" mean? Can you weigh in at 250 pounds if your supposed to be at 155, and just go with it? If MacDonald would refuse to fight Gouveia, would he had the right to do so? Someone who's expert on this that can enlighten me with some answers?
  25. Anonymous Says:

    Sat, 12/13/08 - 12:36

wtf is jules even at this event as a fighter??
  26. Olie Says:

    Sat, 12/13/08 - 02:05

Kingsbury looks pumped and lean as fuck!!!! He means fucking business.
  27. Poopy Pooperton Says:

    Sat, 12/13/08 - 02:24

This is absurd that Junie is on the main card and Ksos is not. For all the great things you've done for the sport Dana, why the FUCK are you back pedaling now? I can only hope Junie gets destroyed tonight so we won't have to see him again, but from what i saw of Kapplan on the show I don't think my hopes will be fulfilled.
  28. B2thaRad Says:

    Sat, 12/13/08 - 02:50

For the love of God give Junie a break already. The guy fucked up. I am sure all of you are so fucking perfect and have never looked like an ass in your entire lives. Couture himself has said that Junie has done everything he and his coaches have asked of him and has been no problem at extreme couture. It is possible to change you know.
  29. Donnie Jessup Says:

  34. jaileer Says:

what th fuck is "safety reasons?" Everyone gets a second shot at making weight. If he's so fucked up that he can't get 2 hours to shed 4 pounds, should he really be fighting? Missing weight is one thing, but if the commision wouldn't give him his second shot, i'll give him a pass. The percentage of fighters missing weight the frst time is higher than you non-fighting tuf noobs understand.
  35. Donnie Jessup Says:

    Sat, 12/13/08 - 04:55

He had to lose four lbs. Maybe they thought that was too much to lose in such a short time.
  36. Aaron Says:

    Sat, 12/13/08 - 05:30

@ B2thaRad: All Junie gets is breaks. I'm hoping we either see something brilliant from him to help understand why he is still around, or he gets beaten off (in the words of DW). I'm starting to think he is a black sheep relative of someone important in the UFC.
  37. nippletwist Says:

    Sat, 12/13/08 - 08:02

isnt it a little early to call nover the next anderson silva though if he hasnt even beaten nover yet?

let go of the nipple, and TRY again.
