‘TUF 9′ to Feature Another Jackass Browning-Brother

Last season of The Ultimate Fighter introduced to us to a Kentucky-bred fighter named Junie Browning, whose crippling insecurities, alcoholism, and violent outbursts made him the show’s standout trainwreck — no small feat, considering all the sheet-pissing, semen-eating antics that were going on in the house. With the widespread criticism that the season received from MMA fans and other fighters, you’d think that the UFC would tighten up their TUF vetting process so that future unhinged psychos wouldn’t be allowed in to embarrass the organization and the sport as a whole. Well, not so much:

A source close to the fighter has told MMAjunkie.com that Robert Browning (1-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC), the younger brother of controversial season-eight cast member Junie Browning, was one of 16 American fighters chosen to compete in the season-opening elimination round. The show is currently in production, and the 22-year-old Browning is in Las Vegas with the other American and British participants.
 
As with other recent seasons of the show, "TUF 9" uses a 32-man tournament format (broken into two different weight classes). Each fighter must win an elimination-round bout to earn a spot on the official 16-person TV cast. The show will ultimately feature eight welterweight fighters and eight lightweights. (To avoid spoilers, we aren’t revealing the outcome of Browning’s fight.)…

 
Robert Browning has a 1-0 professional record and a 4-2 amateur mark. He’s fought exclusively in organizations in his home state of Kentucky, which included the American Fight League, where he holds the organization’s amateur featherweight title.

We first caught a glimpse of Rob in this local sports-show interview — way back when "Junie" was "Allen." But who ever thought we’d see him in the UFC one day? He’s a natural featherweight, for one thing. Plus, they already rolled the dice on one Browning brother. Could Junie have been that good for ratings? Is the UFC hoping for the same controversial behavior out of Rob? Anyway, he’s Dan Henderson‘s problem now, which is a fortunate thing, because Team UK coach Michael Bisping won’t stand for any house-trashing, drunken antics. I know it’s not right to judge a guy based on the behavior of his brother, but…let’s just say we have a feeling about this one.

So this tool is gonna take up a spot on TUF that could be reserved for a real fighter!(Hes just getting on because of his name!)he’s gonna get his ass handed to him(Just like his brother did!) Then hes gonna go train with Couture for 5 yrs for free then hes gonna end up being a decent fighter!(just like his brother did!) seriously why don’t you all loosen up, he made the fight entertaining… if it wasnt him it would of been 2 guys checking distance with jabs for 5 minutes and the crowd non stop booing.. at least he made us laugh.. people like rashad evans , krazy horse , and him are what the mainstream mma shows need

Just once I’d like to see someone get KO’d during a taunt, perhaps Rampage/Machida catching Rashad during one of his crotch grab taunts, but I’d honestly just love to see a video of an MMA fighter getting clocked while doing something stupid.
