UFC 100 Lineup Nearly Complete

The UFC has officially announced five bouts for the supporting card of their historic UFC 100 event, which goes down July 11th at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas; tickets go on sale to the general public tomorrow at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT. Here’s what the lineup looks like so far, according to UFC 100′s fight card page on UFC.com:

Main Card
Brock Lesnar vs. Frank Mir (for unified heavyweight championship)
Georges St. Pierre vs. Thiago Alves (for welterweight championship)
Dan Henderson vs. Michael Bisping (MW)
Yoshihiro Akiyama vs. Alan Belcher (MW)

"May not be broadcast"
Jon Jones vs. Jake O’Brien (LHW)
Dong Hyun Kim vs. Jonathan Goulet (WW)
CB Dollaway vs. Tom Lawlor (MW)
Matt Grice vs. Shannon Gugerty (LW)

For some reason, the light-heavyweight match between Mark Coleman and Stephan Bonnar isn’t listed on UFC.com, even though Amir Sadollah confirmed the fight during an "Inside the Octagon" segment on Wednesday’s installment of The Ultimate Fighter. In addition, welterweights Jon Fitch and Paulo Thiago have reportedly agreed to meet at UFC 100, while a new report from MMA Weekly claims that a lightweight bout between Mac Danzig and Jim Miller will also be added to the card.

Dana White- April 10, 2009 at 1:26 pm
im pretty sure the UFC is going to have a big suprise adding a crazey sick fight to the main card like i said b4 its a EPIC fail if they dont. Miguel Torres VS TBA ;D main card!!!!!!
Danal White- April 10, 2009 at 1:15 pm
@Dakyn: you smoking that Diaz shit?
Two title fights, alhtough does anyone really care about Alves or Thales of whoever it is fighting GSP?
The third fight is name recognition of an old fart and name recognition from reality tard.
The fourth is a throwaway.
And the 4 others are undercards on TUF shows.

You would figure that for their big 100th show they could have tried giving something extra to the fans, sorta like the chinks do in their NYE shows.

BROCK BRO, I COULD NOT AGREE WITH YOU MORE. HE'S A DEAD MAN FOR SURE THIS TIME. UNLEASH THE BEAST ON THAT STUPID MOTHER FUCKER.
BROCK LESNAR- April 10, 2009 at 11:49 am
I'M SIMPLY GOING TO POP HIS LITTLE CHERRY, AND FUCK HIS STUPID ASS THIS TIME AROUND. NO MERCY ON A DUMB SON OF A BITCH THAT THINKS BEATING AN OUT OF SHAPE, AND SUPER SLOW BRAZILIAN NAME ANTONIO RODRIGO NOGUERIA. HE TAKES HOME A FAKE CHAMPIONSHIP (INTERIM) BELT, AND THINKS HE HAS DONE THE IMPOSIBLE BY DOING SO. BOY'S THATS NOTHING TO BRAG ABOUT OR EVEN BE PROUD OF. NOG IS REALLY WORN DOWN, AND THATS THAT. THE MOTHER FUCKER (MIR) THINKS HE IS THE BEST HEAVYWEIGHT BY BEATING HIM THE WAY HE DID. WTF IS HE THINKING. HE'S A FUCKIN IDIOT, AND I'M GOING TO KILL THE SON OF A BITCH THIS TIME. I'LL PLAY WITH HIM IN THE FIRST ROUND, AND MAKE HIM THINK HE'S DOING SOMETHING SPECIAL, THEN I'LL REALLY BEGIN TO SHUT HIM THE FUCK UP ONCE AND FOR ALL IN THE SECOND ROUND. MY GOD AM I EVER GOING TO RIP THIS GUYS HEAD OFF, AND SHIT DOWN HIS THROAT. FUCK YOU MIR YOUR A DEAD MAN. P.S. SEE SAMPLE PICTURE ABOVE OF MIR BEGGING FOR MERCY.

They should have gone BIG TIME on this card for the 100th UFC. Overall its kinda weak. Names missing??? Silva, Machida, in fact it should have been a title defense for ALL divisions... that would have been a card to remember.
UFC fan- April 10, 2009 at 10:58 am
This is going to be a monster of a PPV. Keep adding fights, some of those undercard fights are lame as fuck for a special PPV like 100.
C-Bus Allstar- April 10, 2009 at 10:27 am
I'm with ArmFarmer here.. Who gives 2 squirts of warm piss about Akiyama vs. Belcher? I'd MUCH MUCH MUCH rather see Jon Jones Vs. Jake O'Brien.. For one, both fighters are interesting to watch for different reasons, and for two, who the fuck is Akiyama? And why do I care that he's fighting Alan Belcher (who btw, means less to me than Mac Danzig [that's saying something]).
Dana White- April 10, 2009 at 10:27 am
If that Loretta bitch shows up, I'll fucking kick her in her twat.
Frank Mir- April 10, 2009 at 10:26 am
Damnit.. I am going to get destroyed. I got lucky last time and was able to submit him but that big son of a bitch was kicking the shit out of me. Hopefully something will happen between now and then, and this fight will be canceled.

I couldnt care less that GSP is fighting. Im really excited to see Lesnar's leg being snapped though. GO MIR!!!!!

Really looking forward to watching it the next day on the internet, hopefully from a foreign web site in a language I can't read.
Dana White- April 10, 2009 at 10:09 am
This card is weaksauce so far Georges St. Pierre vs. Thiago Alves is the only great fight so far. I dont care to see sour puss face aka CB or Chest Cocklesnar. This is a EPIC event with epic Fail fights.
Dana White rules!- April 10, 2009 at 9:32 am
They should at least put the undercards FREE ON SPIKE!
manutdfan- April 10, 2009 at 8:55 am
There is no reason every fight should 'not be broadcast'. This is the historic 100th event, here!
Clue-by-Four- April 10, 2009 at 8:50 am
It would be a crime against the MMA world if they didn't televise Launchpad McTapsalot succumb to yet another armbar.
matt- April 10, 2009 at 8:49 am
i think since this is such a historic event and all and the card is stacked from top to bottom that they should extend the ppv view time to 4 hours without raising the price, start it at 9pm instead of 10pm and have it run to its usual time. because i wanna see just about all the fights on the undercard
Dana White sucks!- April 10, 2009 at 7:35 am
I'm going to be in Vegas for this, who wants to buy me a ticket?! You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours but thing about my back is it's located on my ...........
cody- April 10, 2009 at 7:19 am
Jones/Obrien Needs to be on the main card for sure. Bones has to be one of the more exciting fighters lately.

Hebrew Hammerfist- April 10, 2009 at 6:39 am
They REALLy need to have Jon Jones on the televised card. I know it's been one fight, but people like to watch explosive up-and-comers.

If there is anyone that people want to see, for the sheer fact of awesomeness, it's Jon Jones.
BuckWild- April 10, 2009 at 6:39 am
They should put Cain V and Shawn Carwin against each other and maybe load up on good HW matches. I think they could draw more attention to the HW that way. I mean Whenever the HW title is on the line, lets brings out the big boys!
mayhem420- April 10, 2009 at 6:36 am
Guess this would be a win or go home match for Mac Danzig.
Besides Lutter has there been a worse T.U.F. winner?
