Vera always provides a boring fight his snoozefest at 102 was easyily the worst fight on the card and krystofi was not at fault...(btw i know i did not spell his name right but who the hell could without googles help)

Good to see we pretty much all saw the Randy fight for what it truly was...BORING! not so much on Vera's part cause he did try to mix it up. I can't understand why in the hell the Ref peels them off the cage only to allow randy to go back immediately to the cage and smother Vera again, why did he not immediately start them back in the center again?

I'm impressed with Hardy because I really expected Swick to take that fight. Unfortunately, I'm far from impressed enough to think he's in the same league as GSP and despite the champ's kind words, I think we all know where that title fight is heading; to the mat, very quickly, and probably not for very long.

I'm glad I wasn't paying for the main event, I think Vera was hard done by there. He definitely did more damage and came closer to finishing. Randy just didn't work in the clinch like he normally does. He used to really dig in and work constantly but it was all a bit lack luster last night.

I also had a horrible vision before the decision that if randy lost all the remaining fights on his contract, he could leave the sport with a 50:50 record. The man deserves better, and I'm begging him to call it a day.

I missed all of the UFC card except for the main event, which was boring as hell. Luckily, I was in a bar that was showing the Pacquiao fight. Damn I love Pacquiao and that was an great, exciting fight.

Vera and Couture are not main event caliber fighters. That should have been the co-main event but I guess the UFC has to go with name recognition. That fight was straight up boring. Seriously, they should restart fighters that don't do anything after 30 seconds or when theyre just standing around. And if they resort to it over and over again like the shit we saw last night, take away 10% of their purse. Thatll get them fighting. Glad this wasn't on PPV.

Both Swick/Hardy and Brown/Wilks were more deserving of fight of the night than Bisping. Though I do like how Buffer pronounces it Biss....PING!

Randy did shit all during that match and I'm not saying Brandon did more, but it was anyone OTHER than Randy Couture laying on someone like that for the entire fucking fight, they would have easily lost. Brandon was at least landing kicks, took him down, all kindsa shit trying to actually fight whereas Randy was just there to hang on for dear life, press against the octagon, and collect his paychecks. Winners 3rd punch was def a dick shot and would never have happened if the Ref wasn't in the stands havin a Guiness with the crowd, Randy def took more punishment and was lucky to survive the kicks and eke out a boring win. Bispings win was o.k but against Kang it loses some of its merit. Kang needs his walkin papers for good, the guy just cannot seem to ever win in the UFC. Not a bad card for free but certainly nothin to really be remembered for. The Brown vs Wilkes fight was prob the best overall battle

i must admit i'm more amped to see hardy vs gsp now than swick vs gsp, on account of how easy it is to kill swick's killer instinct. put some fists in his face, and he gets all timid. i hated that, gosh swick i really expected more.

I was at the event last night (my fist 'live' UFC) - I'm not sure what was shown on Spike as I havent had the chance to check it out yet, Silver landed a sweet liver kick which put Kelly on the floor - He was basically unable to continue but wasn't KO'd.

Nick Osipczak v Matt Riddle was a more deserving KO/TKO of the night imho, very exciting fight with a pretty brutal ending. Winner had the lovely KO seen above and would have been my 2nd choice.

Bisping had the fight of the night bonus and deservedly so, the M.E.N arena went crazy when he came in, as he was walking over to his corner after the 1st he was apologising to the crowd but got his shit together for the rest and overcame Kang.

Vera really should have won his fight, I WAS a fan of Couture before seeing him do nothing but hug Vera against the cage for 14.5 minutes - really boring fighter and should give retirement serious consideration if his only defense against bigger guys is hugging to a snoozy decision. The main event was very anti-climactic as all of the prelims and main card fights had been exciting through the night.

Dan Hardy looked impressive against Swick, who most seemed to think would KO him easily - Not convinced he could worry GSP in the slightest though.

Ross looked very good but Jamie looked like the worst of the Brits on the night.

There is nothing like seeing it all live, it was a shame there wasnt a championship fight but maybe next time .... Oh, I saw GSP and Anderson Silver watching from the ringside.

I thought Winner's KO was the best of the night. Maybe one of the best of the year. I can't believe he didn't get the money. It was the ref's fault for the late stoppage. The refs constantly drill the fighters not to stop until they feel the ref lay his hands on them. But that assumes the ref isn't on the other side of the Octagon.

I couldn't believe that Vera kept walking into Randy's clinch when he clearly had an advantage in the striking.

I agree with Creamy, the Brown/Wilks fight was FOTN. Not only was the momentum constantly going back and forth until Brown's awesome reversal, but we got to see almost every aspect of MMA respresented in one fight.

I'm still hoping the UFC backs off of the title shot thing; it wouldn't be the first time they've bailed on a "guaranteed" title shot after a snoozer of a performance from the winner. However, Dana White "wow"ing at Hardy's performance, plus the fact that Cote got a shot at Silva despite looking like shit against Almeida (and thanks to being Canadian), gives me little hope.

^Agreed. I would say though that one or two of the refs did a very good job of seperating people who were either lay-and-praying or stalling in the clinch against the cage during some of the fights. Just didnt happen in the Vera/Randy fight.

Those last two shots by Winner were nothing. The hard right landed on the shoulder and the left had nothing on it. It looks he realized as he was throwing them, that the fight was over. He was already committed to to throwing the right, which he should have been. And this is coming from someone who doesn't like the way he fights, hands down and cocky.

The judges probably just assumed Couture won since they all fell asleep somewhere at near the start of the first round. That was one boring ass fight nobody won in my opinion.

OK, The Ref was out of position for Winner's extra shots, and when a fighter goes limp its not finishing a fight its uncalled for. You can tell when a person has the posability of recovering, or if his eyes are rolling back in his head. BUT dont blame Winner completly, the ref needs to be in position at all times, not on the other side of octagon.

The Vera fight i thought he won, but its not important. I think Vera is a great fighter who has enough to be a champion besides the desire to win. He NEVER finishes fights when he has chances too. I personally think the fight should have been a draw because neither fighter tried to finish the fight. If you dont finish fights you have to deal with whatever decision is handed down... This goes for the people still complaining about the shogun fight....

Winner was just trying to finish the fight and the ref was in the concessions stands and had to ride Mike Swick's "quick" hands to get back to the fight to stop it, man. What's the big deal?
