Sorry man, but you can't write off Fedor simply because he is not in the UFC. While I do agree that the top talent right now is in the UFC (depending on how you factor in Rogers and Overeem) Fedor's accomplishments still stand and still serve to put him amongst the best P4P in the world. There is absolutely no way around that.
As far as victories over fighters that are recognizable in the West;
He beat Babalu in his prime, he beat Semmy Schilt (dude is tied for most K-1 GP Wins at 4, thats insane to win that tournament 4 times), he beat Herring, he beat Rodrigo Nogueira in his prime (and DOMINATED him), he beat Mark Coleman in his prime, he beat Kevin Randleman (after getting suplexed on his fucking HEAD), he beat Rodrigo Nogueira TWO MORE TIMES, he beat Cro Cop in his prime, then he beat Coleman again, and then he beat Tim Sylvia, Andrei Arlovski, and Brett Rogers.
And those are just the victories over well known in the West fighters, that doesn't even account for half of his wins. The guy is undefeated except for a no contest and a TKO by doctor stoppage (controversial because the blow was from an illegal elbow, but it was a tournament so a NC wasnt an option)
I like Fedor, he isn't my favorite fighter though, but you have to give the man his due. He's one of the most widely respected figures in the sport with arguably the most impressive record.
You don't have to like him, but you can't write him off because he isn't in the UFC. That's the UFC's fault (and probably M-1 Global) its got nothing to do with him as a fighter. And saying that he is irrelevant until he takes on Carwin, Mir, Lesnar etc is nonsense, none of them are anywhere near the top P4P in the world.
Thats like saying Anderson Silva isn't the top P4P because he will never fight Lyoto Machida, the top LHW in the world, and since he will never fight him, we will never know if he is better. Its the same thing. So Fedor hasn't fought Carwin or Lesnar, it really doesnt matter.
And in all honesty, he's probably going to fight them anyways.
Same could be said for GSP v Penn. BJ's a fucking magician with his striking skills and flexibility, but he just doesn't have the goods needed to jump to 170 lbs.
That said, GSP has the edge on him there, but the jury is still out (somewhat) on him until he does/doesn't make the jump to middleweight. If he can do that successfully, then it's cleanly between him and the Spider as to who's the best p4p fighter out there.
Fedor, Schmedor. I like him, and he's a killer, but until he's in the UFC he's a non-issue. Might as well compare the best rugby player in the world to the best NFL linebacker, you know? Until he's in the UFC taking on guys like Mir, Velasquez, Carwin and maybe someday Lesnar, he needs to be left out of these comparisons.

And comparing Andrei Arlovski during his UFC title reign to any current UFC HW champ (which is who, btw? I don't even know anymore), doesn't hold up. Because the sport has changed so much and so have those men themselves.
By the way, BJ is awesome. Just kind of immature. GSP taught him a real lesson that day. That asswhooping was a gift to BJ, because now he's unstoppable at 155.

Hey you know how I know TeamZipper is a fucking idiot? Because he thinks BJ Penn is the greatest p4p fighter in the world, and he thinks the only reason people think Fedor deserves that title is because he's just a fad with a bandwagon of phony supporters. Go fuck yourself, idiot. Why don't you compare their records, what organizations they've fought in, who they've beaten (and lost to) and then try and validate that statement.
