@ cabj - understood. It is impossible to rank guys outside of their weight class, and Edgar and Silva have shown ability beyond their normal weight, so that may be Dana's contention. I can see it being annoying if Dana is constantly switching up what he says for the flavor of the month, but it is hard to rank guys that are all so damn good. I think Dana should just be really thankful he has such amazing champions, and right now he really does. Silva & GSP are the two most dominant fighters in the sport, followed closely by Aldo. Jones may well surpass all of them one day soon. Cruz and Edgar are extremely good, and Edgar just constantly feels like that underdog story given his size. And if Cain can beat JDS, he'll start really making his case for being the equal of the rest. Same goes for JDS if he wins. It honestly is an impressive group atop the UFC divisions right now.

@RWR I'm with you that what Frankie is doing a full weight class above his natural weight is very impressive. I'm not so much against Dana claiming he's #2. I just don't like that after every title defense, there's a new guy up there. Consistency, Dana. That's all I ask for. I find it hard to believe that after GSP's title defense later this month, Dana won't be swinging from his balls too claiming that he's "top 2 or 3 P4P."

@dranokills I agree with the Brian Stann nuthuggery. He hasn't beaten anyone that matters and this was an obvious mismatch for him. He got completely outclassed and down right embarrassed tonight. Glad to see his myth be put to rest.
