Brian Bowles vs. Urijah Faber

Rogan describes Faber as a “dynamic human being”. He must be referring to his love of the violin and talent with calligraphy. Ref wants no part of a face off.

R1: Faber pumping that jab. Bowles backing up as Faber moves forward. Faber with a nice leg kick and counter right hand by Bowles. Faber lands a nice combo. Faber with a nice right and an uppercut. Bowles responds with a body shot. Nice body kick by Bowles. Faber unloads with a nice combo, and Bowles responds in kind. Faber with a nother three-punch set. More combos from each fighter. Bowles finds a home for a body shot. Faber picks up Bowles and slams him down, quickly escaping a guillotine attempt. Bowles clamps Faber down, but Uriah explodes free and nails him with a hard elbow. Faber stands up and eats an upkick, but he dives in with a huge punch to close the round.

R2: The two trade unremarkable combos to start the round. Huge uppercut and big knee by Faber. Bowles drops to his back and Urijah follows him down with unrelenting ground and pound. Faber looks for a guillotine but lets it go in favor of dishing out more punishment. Faber unleashes a punishing knee to the body and a score of hard elbows. He goes back to the guillotine from mount and quickly draws the tap!
