(“What you lookin’ at piss breath?”)
Well, here we are at the UFC’s second Toronto card of 2011 and I’m stuck at home an hour-and-a-half away live-blogging on my couch with my wife and my dog.
I got a call from a buddy a few hours ago telling me he had a free ticket for me, but I told him I had to keep you guys abreast of the action, so I took a raincheck. Don’t say I never do anything for you.
The UFC 140 prelims are already in the books. Check out the results after the jump and let’s get this thing going.

.
Why you always mixed up?
.
JET and I are the same person.
.
Do you feel like your being picked on?
.
Just tell us who you dislike the most, the other will promise to leave you alone (at least for a few days)
.
Hey Watts, I checked out the RagingWolf website.
.
They claim your fighting some chick named Tonya Evinger.
.
What's up with that one bro?
.
As for Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, other are calling a loser. Not even close, he was in command until he let his arm flop around. That said, go back and watch the arm break a second time.
.
Nog never tapped, not until after that arm snapped in half. "Big man points, and props from me!" Sure as hell hope this isn't any talk of retirement around here.
.
Other Thoughts:
.
- Lyoto Machida looked great in the first round. He was landing on Jones and was the first man to ever expose any sort of weakness the champ may have. That elbow was the fight changer as it was the first strike that has ever made Machida quit. He's not a huge loser tonight because he still had the performance in the first round.
.
- Goldberg and Rogan were very much off their games tonight. They often ignored full sequences of fights to discuss inane topics. I understand that the UFC is winding down after a rough year but these guys need to be at the top of their game every night.
.
- I'm pretty bummed that neither Rogan or Goldberg made any comment about Frank Shamrock, who was working Brian Ebersole's corner. We joke about the UFC's ability to ignore the past but tonight was a great moment to reference a MMA legend and instead Shamrock was ignored.
.
- Mark Hominick needed a win. Not just to get back in the W column but also to get his life back under control. He lost his best friend earlier this year when it was announced that Shawn Tompkins had passed away. Hopefully UFC brass take their time with the Machine, he's got the popularity to make a different in the Canadian market.

Come'on karma...the zombie was only in the ring 7 seconds, how great could he look. He missed a punch, land one of his own, then taped the other 3-4 times while his head was already on the mat. Too much lust bro.
Where exactly in New York? I'm from Upstate so if it's not too far I'd be down to check it out.
-
I also thought The Korean Zombie looked fucking sick.
-
Frank Mir got nailed in the fight with Nog, Big Nog shouldn't have gone for a submission and by no means am I discrediting his Jujitsu because it's world class but Mir had almost NO Idea where he was at. Thus he probably should have kept punching him regardless of the ref telling him to not hit him in the back of the head because thats where he hesitated and I felt he changed the plan of attack after the referee told him like that and just didn't want to get Dq'd or lose a point and it cost him his Arm. I still couldn't believe he wouldn't tap to that and honestly that's atleast eight months off from training and competing.
-
Frank Mir is sometimes a very impressive fighter, like last night.
-
Oh and if anyone is in Western New York next weekend let me know I am fighting a very game Opponent as he is 6-0 at RagingWolf productions.
-
yeah, sorry. I meant overeem. Its a rumor among several reporters at the press conference that Overeem is injured: (http://it.twitter.com/bokamotoESPN)
Dana White did say that's the first he's ever heard of it however.
Overeem's camp is in Holland now though.
