commentsi would have gone with the poutine angle
I like GSP in this fight but im still pretty nervous, as much of a dork serra is, he has talent and obviously heavy hands, it definitely is a possibility he catches Georges again... but i see that as the only way he'll beat him.
Even gassed from cutting (and not making) weight, Lutter had Silva mounted and just blew what wad he had left pounding in him then made a mistake Silva capitalized on. Although I was really pissed about his decision to train alone and blow his shot at a title, I was impressed by what Lutter showed in the cage that night.
I think a Lutter that's 100% has serious potential to dethrone Silva. Unfortunately, I think Franklin's going to pull this on out provided has hasn't lost his edge (which I doubt). Than we get to see Silva/Franklin III, which I'm pretty sure will end with Franklin being put away again.
I honestly can't call Serra/GSP II. My girlfriend, a huge GSP fan, almost cried when he got knocked out the first time. Serra's no chump. He came out in the first fight, did what he had to do, and legitimately dominated GSP. I'm thinking he could do it again, but I also know that Georges is a monster. I just get the feeling that this is going to come down to who blinks first, either on the ground or on the feet.
I don't really care either way, but Serra's been out for a while with injury and GSP stepped up and absolutely demolished Hughes (much to my enjoyment). I just hope my damn TV is fixed before the fight as the technician won't be coming out till next Monday. Assholes.
