The UFC handed out $1,561,000 in disclosed salaries and bonuses for Saturday’s "Ultimate 2008" card, with the fighters in the three main events taking home the lion’s share. Quinton Jackson came out on top, adding a $100,000 win bonus and $60,000 Knockout of the Night bonus to his $225,000 base salary, while Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira came in second place simply on the basis of his meaty quarter-million-to-show payout. Complete figures are below:
Quinton Jackson: $385,000 (includes $100,000 win bonus, $60,000 Knockout of the Night bonus)
Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira: $250,000
Wanderlei Silva: $200,000
Rashad Evans: $190,000 (includes $65,000 win bonus, $60,000 Fight of the Night bonus)
Forrest Griffin: $160,000 (includes $60,000 Fight of the Night bonus)
Frank Mir: $90,000 (includes $45,000 win bonus)
Cheick Kongo: $90,000 (includes $45,000 win bonus)
Yushin Okami: $32,000 (includes $16,000 win bonus)
Antoni Hardonk: $28,000 (includes $14,000 win bonus)
CB Dollaway: $20,000 (includes $10,000 win bonus)
Matt Hamill: $20,000 (includes $10,000 win bonus)
Dean Lister: $19,000
Ryo Chonan: $18,000
Reese Andy: $15,000
Brad Blackburn: $14,000 (includes $7,000 win bonus)
Pat Barry: $10,000 (includes $5,000 win bonus)
Mustafa Al-Turk: $7,000
Mike Massenzio: $5,000
Mike Wessel: $4,000
Dan Evensen: $4,000
Underpaid: Matt Hamill, who somehow had a lower base salary than his opponent, Reese Andy. Between his high-profile fights and his participation in the UFC’s push to get MMA regulated in New York State, Hamill deserves more than what his TUF-guy sucker-contract is paying him.
Overpaid: It seems like the UFC was banking on Big Nog possibly being a long-reigning champion. Now it looks like his peak is long behind him, but he’s still being paid like an A-lister. Will they ask him to renegotiate?

Brock won’t fall for the same move but I doubt that Mir will try it. Also, if you think Brock was “dominating” him you need to watch that fight again.[ I watch it all the time with a chaser of Kimbo getting KTFO] Mir set the trap and Brock walked right in, and it will happen again. Nobody thought Mir would beat Nog and look what happened.
