But like with that card, tonight’s event only has a handful of fights worth spending money to live blog. Those fights are: 1. UFC Fight Night 49′s main event, Rafael Dos Anjos vs. Benson Henderson. 2. The co-main event, Mike Pyle vs. Jordan Mein and 3. Francis Carmont vs. Thales Leites.

Francis Carmont vs. Thales Leites
Round 1: Carmont lands a double jab to start off. Leites comes forward with a messy flurry and clinches. Leites struggles while working for a trip. Carmont blocks it with a wizzer. They separate and return to the cage. Leites charges with another messy combination. Carmont throws a huge right hand and misses big. Carmont lands a strong leg kick that floors Leites, who springs back to his feet. Leites hits nothing but air with a huge overhand right. Leites comes forward again and lands a left hook but misses with a follow-up right. Carmont attempts a 1-2 but misses on both. Carmont ducks under a Leites combination and nearly gets a double-leg. Instead of taking Leites down, he winds up pushing him against the fence. After a few seconds of wall-and-stall, they separate. Carmont wobbles Leites with another leg kick. Leites lands a left hand and then a weak overhand right a few seconds later. Leites clinches and both men wind up on the fence again. They separate again. See a pattern? Carmont lands another leg kick but can’t find a home for the follow-up overhand right.
Round 2: Leites FINALLY lands the big overhand right and it rocks Carmont. Leites unloads on Carmont with a TREMENDOUS flurry of follow-up punches that floors him. He’s out cold! This one is over.
Mike Pyle vs. Jordan Mein
Round 1: The first minute passes without much activity but then Mein lands a DEVASTATING hook that floors mike Pyle. Pyle curls up into the fetal position and the referee stops it. Wow.
Benson Henderson vs. Rafael Dos Anjos
Round 1: After an ETERNITY of commercials and inane chatter from the UFC’s panel of experts, we’re up to the main event. Henderson fires off some jabs and misses. Dos Anjos lands a leg kick. Henderson lands his own. Dos Anjos throws a front kick and misses. Henderson lands a fast right hand but then eats a left. Henderson lands an uppercut. Dos Anjos returns with a body shot and then lands a right hand. Both fighters are showing tremendous hand speed. Henderson floors dos Anjos with a front-leg front kick. Dos Anjos gets up and lands a round kick to the body. Dos Anjos lands a flurry. He lands a a hook then a flying knee. Benson is stunned and goes for a takedown. Dos Anjos separates and then lands a HUGE hook that floors Benson. Big John McCarthy runs in to stop the fight. The crowd boos.
