UFC Fight Night: Condit vs. Kampmann — Videos + Bonuses
(Carlos Condit vs. Martin Kampmann)
Last night's "Condit vs. Kampmann" card brought in a live gate of $626,077, thanks to its 10,267 spectators — which made it the most well-attended Fight Night show in UFC history. $120,000 was re-distributed to the fighters in the form of $30,000 end-of-night bonuses. Taking home the extra cash were...
Fight of the Night: Tyson Griffin and Rafael Dos Anjos, as mentioned earlier. Don't ask us why their sloppy slugfest got the nod over the technical back-and-forth battle of the main event.
Knockout of the Night: Aaron Simpson's first-round stoppage of Tim McKenzie in the night's opening bout turned out to be the only TKO on the card, so he scored the bonus by default.
Submission of the Night: Rob Kimmons earned the bump with his first-round guillotine choke victory over Joe Vedepo, which put Vedepo to sleep for the second time in his short UFC career. It was nice knowing you, buddy.
More videos from the main card after the jump...
(Ryan Bader vs. Carmelo Marrero)
(Cole Miller vs. Junie Browning)

@ Cage Potato Says:
Your seriously confused as to why Griffen/ Dos Anjos fight got "Fight of the night" bonus over Condit/Kampmann?
How about the fact that Griffen and Dos Anjos were fucking swinging for the fences and nailing each other in the face for 15 minutes? Or that gnarly leg compression attempt that i dont think any of us have seen in th UFC, or how about all the heart Griffen had to grind it out effectivly on a bum leg?
Condit/Kampmann was technical no doubt but Griffen/Dos Anjos was a damn slug fest.

LoneWolf Says:
How in the Eff did Griffen v Dos Anjos get fight of the night....who's the dumbass that robbed Carlos Condit vs. Martin Kampmann. What crap....those 2 really deserved it, it was an amazing fight. And I still think Condit won....

whats this i hear about the expo?
CAPS LOCK HAL Says:
JUNIE BROWNING IS STILL THE BADDEST MOTHER FUCKER TO EVER WALK INTO THE UFC, AND YOU MOTHER FUCKERS KNOW IT. HE CLEARLY STUMBLED ON A WET SPOT OR SOMETHING, MAYBE EVEN A LITTLE WRINCKLE IN THE MAT, AND TRIED TO CATCH HIMSELF BEFORE HE FELL BUT BY THEN HIS FOCUS WAS ALITTLE OFF DUE TO THE SLIP, AND TRIP, AND BY THEN IT WAS TO LATE BECAUSE COLE HAD JUST GOTTEN AHOLD OF HIS HEAD, AND LOCKED ON LIKE A LITTLE SNAKE WITH THOSE SKINNY LITTLE LONG ARMS, AND THAT WAS IT. 9 OUT OF 10 TIMES JUNIE WOULD KICK HIS ASS. YOU STUPID MOTHER FUCKERS JUST DON'T WANT TO FACE TO FACTS DO YOU. NO YOU DO NOT. FACTS ARE THE FACTS, AND THATS THAT.
Captain Bringdown Says:
@CAPS LOCK HAL
Junie is on notice. One more loss and bye bye...
You can have wet dreams all you want but even they wont help Junie.
@ "@ Cage Potato says" Says:
CP was right in their comment. Kampann/Condit was by far the better fight. Just because Tyson Griffin can't string a combo together in favor of swinging for the fences, and Dos Anjos wants to timidly let a hurt opponent regain his footing so that he can lose by UD as expected, doesn't make that FON.
HillBilly Says:
From the live-blog post
it sounded like Junie got Cole's back and had him in trouble for a little bit. but after seeing the video... Browning just isn't on the level of Miller. All Junie could do from Cole's back was eat a couple of big elbows and hang on for dear life.
Ive never seen someone make it look like having the other fighter's back was somehow an insurmountable disadvantage before. This kid clearly needs a few more years of work before he's ready for the big time.
GetUpAndKill Says:
Griffin deserved fight of the night for nearly having his own foot twisted into his ass.
BitchJ Penn Says:
Yea nobody cares to mention that Griffin couldnt launch full power after just having his own foot hooped up his own ass!! did you watch the 3rd Rd? once he got his legs back under him he was swinging full force again he just ran out of time. I've got no problem with them taking F.O.N. But in my opinion the F.O.N was definitely Cole putting that no talent douche bag one step closer to never being heard from again!
Darwin Says:
Need undercard clips :(
Anonymous Says:
condit is a fucking pile theres no way he won that fight, Griffin-anjos DID deserve fight of the night, and finally junie browning is destined to fall by the wayside its fucking unavoidable
merv Says:
I thought Condit won it too, but i was a lil tipsy at the time, id have to see it again. Tyson showed alot of heart and it was a slugfest but Condit/Kamp was the fight of the night.

Buddy, you yet to give me one reason why kampmann/Condit was a better fight.
If you want to side with CagePotato great but have your own reasons...dont just echo what someone says cuse its the majority .
ken-mura Says:
Condit and Kapmann were robbed. Anyone can go in the cage and throw haymakers and hope to land one. But what Condit and Kapmann did was MMA. Best fight of the night by far.
Props to Griffin for toughing out the knee pretzel, and to Cole Miller for finishing off J.Bo.
LukeTheDuke Says:
I'm sorry to fighters/UFC/Dana White/everyone who has to read this: SNNNOOOOOZZZEEEE FESSST.
LukeTheDuke Says:
props to Dos Anjos on the calf slicer though, that was the most exciting part of my night.
Goth kid from South Park Says:
You all are a bunch of conformists! Now excuse me while i smoke a cigarette to my vampire jock jamz mix
LAS Says:
I have a hard time believing Tyson Griffin's leg was messed up. I didn't see him limping or favoring, certainly not after the end of round 1. He said himself after the fight that he just had to shake it off. Just another case of Joe Rogan creating melodramatic bullshit to make another lackluster decision for Griffin seem more impressive than it actually was.
armfarmer Says:
Tyson's fight was more entertaining to me than the main event. Tyson was owning him in the beginning, then he was in danger of being submitted, then he looked like he was hurt bad and started losing the stand up as well, then came back strong in the 3rd and dominated again. Not to mention the unique submission most haven't seen before. I thought it was pretty damn entertaining, and unlike the main event it had 3 rounds of action not 2. I think CP just hates Tyson Griffin, they criticize him for lay n praying (see condit/campman round 3) and were making cracks about not bothering to watch his fight because it would be boring.. and yet he almost always gets fight of the night. Must be jealous of his badunkadunk.
armfarmer Says:
LAS you need to watch round 2 again how could you not notice the difference. I wonder if CP writers were as oblivious as you, his leg was jacked up you could definitely tell. What Tyson said himself was that it wasn't a serious injury.. as in something that would require surgery or a long lay off.. yes he did have to shake it off but it took almost the entire 2nd round.
dudeson Says:
Where are all the Junie browning fanboys now? remember the one who typed in all caps calling all of us pussies that are scared to fight or some stupid bullshit. yeah you shut the fuck up now after your boy got his ass handed to him quickstyle. props to Miller for beatin him and giving him a taste of his own medicine.
dudeson Says:
Oh I didn't read far enough, there's old CAPS LOCK HAL. bein' stupid as fuck. face reality fanboy, Junies a punk. And the FACTS are that he lost quickly and easily. THE FACTS ARE THE FACTS. your so fucking stupid its funny, I bet you just don't know how to turn the caps lock key off...pussy.
Anonymous Says:
id still like to see junie fight more. needs to be fed a few easy fights, problem is he is a douche bag so no one wants to give him easy victories to buff up his ego.
Lenny Says:
Miller to Browning after the win "How do you like that, Bitch?....You shouldn't even be in an event. You lost in the house. You just talk smack because you know Dana will put you in fights. Go home beeotch!"
Anyone else fed up of guys in the house that act like tough guys, but end up losing in the house only to get fight contracts after because of thier attitudes????
ie, Chris Leben, Melvin Guillard, Junie Browning, etc etc...
The only ones in the house that should get on fight cards are the ones that earn it!!
Leave the tough guy attitude in the schoolyard
kellenavalanche Says:
Griffin's leg did look really messed up while in that shit , but he seemed almost fine as soon as he got out. Rogan was really milking it. I personally thought that fight was more entertaining than the main event, not to say they both were not good.
It's hard for me to believe anyone can think that Condit won that fight.
Junie looked seriously outmatched in every way.
I was chuggin' them beers.
B Says:
I honestly saw that fight for Condit. First two rounds he had better striking and positions as well as a few take downs. Those guillotine attempts were all way off except for the first one.
Johnny Farnham Says:
Condit was robbed. It should not even be debatable.
Granted, Kampmann won the third round, but one and two were certainly Condit's.
The judges give far too much credit for takedowns.
Big Poppa J Says:
Fuck a Cole Miller.
