‘UFC Fight Night: Nogueira vs. Davis’ Gets a Five-Fight Prelim Broadcast on Facebook


(Phil Davis’s latest video blog from kimura.se. Check out that river of sweat at 2:20. Nasty.)

Couple things to make y’all aware of. First of all, CagePotato.com will be providing live results from the Spike TV broadcast of UFC Fight Night: Nogueira vs. Davis, this Saturday night beginning at 10 p.m. ET. Please come by and bring snacks.

Also, before the main card kicks off on television, Facebook.com/UFC will be hosting another live streaming broadcast from the prelims. This time, we’re getting a full five fights beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET / 4:30 p.m. PT. They will be:

Jon Madsen vs. Mike Russow
Alex Caceres vs. Mackens Semerzier
Sean McCorkle vs. Christian Morecraft
John Hathaway vs. Kris McCray
Michael McDonald vs. Edwin Figueroa

Sorry, but there’s no longer an excuse for any of you jokers to not be on Facebook. Get with the damn program already.

realize I made no sense --- Basic point was that I was comparing rashad's chance vs Jones to Davis's' chance vs Jones.

Does anyone really think Rashad has a chance against Jones? Or that Lil Nog has a a chance against Davis ? ( lil'nog does but it's like 25%-- never count out a nog but this is going to be real tough for him )

I don't think Rashad does. Alien Davis has a shot due to athleticism and alieness .... Hendo? no fucking way, Machida? not a bad underdog pic -- he is wily enough to maybe MAYBE pull off some karate magic but it's also a long shot. We are now looking at ' bigger , stronger , faster". Thank the Maker that Davis's alien socialization has allowed him to be palatable to us non-christian zombies. ( I know he is devout but he doesn't give me an unwanted christian facial every time he is on camera.

When I use facebook to watch the fights I reset my IP multiple times and I completely purge all temp files and recheck all my services to ensure they have not been fucked with.

It is the new AoL -- it's like a big super virus.

@RwR You will be hard rpessed to find someone who dislikes Crackbook more than me. I hate everything about it and I feel like I need to take a shower after watching the fights there.

There may be some solid fights on that undercard. Maybe I'll get out the ol' VGA cable and watch it on my TV. It'll probably look like a bunch of big skin-colored squares moving around, haha.

In that picture of Phil Davis at the weigh-in's when he is up there flexing, his out of control lats make his back so V-shaped he looks like Starscream.

I hate the fights on facebook because they don't keep the recordings up after the event is over. I have a fight this Saturday night so I'll be missing all the prelim goodness!

Does anyone know of a place that keeps the free facebook fights on file?
