‘UFC Live’ Video: Cheick Kongo vs. Pat Barry Fight Highlights

(Props: ESPN via MMAMania)

Greatest comeback knockout in UFC history? Last night‘s main event clash between Cheick Kongo and Pat Barry is certainly up there with previous shockers like Scott Smith vs. Pete Sell and Mike Russow vs. Todd Duffee, considering how close it came to being stopped. Kongo earned himself a $50,000 Knockout of the Night bonus for his efforts. The other performance bonuses went to Joe Lauzon, who picked up the Submission of the Night award for his first-round kimura over Curt Warburton, and Nik Lentz and Charles Oliveria, who were awarded the Fight of the Night despite the fact that an illegal knee from Oliveira near the end of the match may result in the fight being declared a no-contest.

After the jump: An excerpt from the night’s other epic battle — Rampage vs. Ariel.

Breaking sports news video. MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL highlights and more.

Jon Jones to wear Ariel Helwani shirt out to the cage... June 27, 2011 at 1:31 pm
I can't believe Rampage acted like he didn't know who Jones was and hadn't seen his fight with Stephen Bonnar , that was the biggest bullshit of the interview. Especially Rampage being a fighter in that weight class, he's probably been studyin the shit out of em' tryin to make a game plan himself. It's an understatement to say he knows he cannot just go in there and try to bang with Jonny, he's gonna get tore the hell up, and I damn know he watched The Shogun fight, Shogun havin the same mentallity, gettin in there and tearin shit up, unfortunately Shogun got smashed! All rampage has goin for him is a one hitter quitter , but then again this is MMA, so one can't say it won't happen , but Jones is gonna have it wherever he wants it, he knows how to use his length to his advantage very well, and he still has never been taken down, its some bully beatdown shit. ADVANTAGE! JONESSSS!!

Let's get the highlights of 'Page cooking cereal - I'd watch it.
Seriously though, he's an alright fighter and a top ten douche.

What a prick! Jones is gonna walk right thru Rampage... Ariel is a boss, his interviews are top notch.

gotta re-post the obvious: Rampage is a dick (especially with how gracious and down-to-earth most fighters are, Lesnar excluded). Ariel is quite simply one of the best.

I think Rampage has lost alot of fans cause of his interviews, I dont like pricks on the streets and I dont care to see them on my TV/computer either.

War Ariel!

Rampage is a 1 dimensional fighter and will never be champ again. Take that bullshit to the WWE.

Page comes across like a dick but to be honest, watchingI would Helwani get blown off completely and refused was kinda nice.

Marquart Tweeted that he will be talking about his medicals on tuesday.

I watched that interview live last night. Page comes across as a total Dick. I know Helwani asks him a question that he could only answer in one way because he was talking about his teammate, but still. At this level the media is allowed to ask you tough questions. Deal with it.

Rampage comes off as an ever-increasing Douche-bag the more I see him in interviews...
rlh61- June 27, 2011 at 5:39 am
Rampage comes across like a bully. Sometimes the guy seems cool, other times he's a prick. He actually called out Ariel to squash it in the cage...WTF?
Machiavelli- June 27, 2011 at 5:22 am
So Rampage wants to be like Dana White with his little feuds?
