Though last night’s episode of UFC Primetime opened with BJ Penn expressing frustration about the way he was portrayed in episode 1, it didn’t show him actually quitting the production and storming off or anything. In fact, the supposed tension wasn’t reflected at all after the opening scene. Episode 2 took a closer look at Penn and St. Pierre’s training camps and families. We see Penn’s new daughter, and his new nephew — the fifth member of the Penn clan to be named "Jay Dee." Meanwhile up north, GSP’s grizzled black-belt father shows up to his training camp, and we get a small glimpse of the effect that the elder St. Pierre had on his son’s life. Notably, there was no Dana White whatsoever in this episode, which I guess means he has more important things to do than babysit the lightweight champ. The third and final episode of UFC Primetime: St. Pierre vs. Penn airs next Wednesday. Will BJ show up for it?

commentsOk.. sorry I expected someone that comes to a website to read articles and discussions to read something. My bad.
For the record, I'm not a bj penn fan. I never thought he was that good and I never liked him. I bet 2,000 dollars on matt hughes to beat him the 2nd time around because I thought it was impossible to win. I thought the 1st time was a fluke and he was going to get crushed. I won the bet but that fight and every fight he's had sense has gradually changed my mind. BJ is really good and to say he has 0 chance to beat a guy matt serra beat down is crazy.
Serra did beat GSP but it was a (t)KO..big difference between a tko and sleeping straightlegged like the above list....
Can't wait for this fight....
:)
I'm not? Oh, ok.
Comparing opponents doesn't tell an accurate tale because what one does for a certain fighter, another would approach in their own way. Fights are made by styles and strengths. Unless BJ and GSP are carbon copies, it's all spec.
This will be a great fight, I hope GSP throws Penn back to the LW division with another L on his record.
Why does seem like most of the talent that comes from Canada has a French accent? We're not all french.
Does anyone know where I can watch the entire episode?
Obviously someone did. Sorry I should have realized that reading 3 paragraphs is too strenuous for many readers hear. Didn't mean to hurt your brain. I don't know what I was thinking making valid points to back up my opinion.
BJ IS GOING TO WHEN GSP SUX!!
There is that more appropriate?
Step 2: GSP bull rushes and takes BJ down.
Step 3: GSP pounds the shit out of BJ.
Step 4: Goldberg: "IT'S ALLLLL OVER!"
Step 5: GSP does a back flip.
armfarmer: cmon bro. no one read that shit.
Unfortunately what sells in the MMA world is not always what is best for the sport. When the exact opposite should be true. GSP by every sense of the word is a classy, respectable martial artist. He shows the true nature of what it means to be a public sports figure. Hard work, discipline, respect, maturity... this is the kind of person I want to see fight. Not some jack-ass saying hes 'going to kill'... and calling his opponent a 'bitch' and a 'quitter' for tapping.
True fans will always apprechiate those who show respect for their oponents, no matter what. History will show who the better man is, win or lose.
