Fresh of his various appearances in our Hayabusa Cameo Contest, former UFC light heavyweight champion Chuck Liddell popped up on Hawaii Five-0 recently, showcasing an entirely different side of his acting abilities, this time playing “cage fighter.” I’ll give all due credit to Alex O’Loughlin for not only fighting up a couple of weight classes, but for taking part in the most brutal charity match this side of Rocky vs. Thunderlips. And is it just us, or does Chucky boy have “that look” in his eyes yet again?

The look we’re referring to is of course, “Where’s the hot dog vendor in this bitch?” We’re still waiting to receive confirmation on whether or not Liddell’s ever-expanding paunch is getting credited as it’s own actor, because its contents are probably more diverse than Liddell’s Hollywood resume at this point.

All kidding aside, it’s just nice to see “The Iceman” back in action. And the fact that Chuck can still get off his back on his own power still puts him leagues ahead of other fighters out there.

Also of note, it appears the Matrix-style moves of Anthony Pettis are starting to have an impact on both the real MMA world and the Hollywood MMA world. Keep your fingers crossed that some genius out in L.A. drafts up the screenplay for Shaolin MMA so we can be treated to that gem in the near future. In 3D, of course.
